Can you have dsl without a land line?
In short, No!
You can purchase a modem that works off the GSM network (mobile phone network). These modems are relatively inexpensive about £30 in the UK. All you need to do, is charge it up, add the SIM card and pair (link up) whatever device you want to use to access the internet. These devices create a wireless access point (wifi), so you do not require a traditional fixed landline. Once you pair up the device you want to use, then you now have access to the internet.
The other way to have access to the internet, is by using a mobile phone that has internet tethering abilities. It's more or less the same process as above, except you don't use a separate GSM modem, the mobile phone becomes a GSM modem instead (this option saves the purchase of buying extra kit).
Another option is to take a wifi enabled device and find a free wifi local hotspot. You can visit a local library, they normally provide access to the Internet and in the UK provide a computer as well, although access is not always free using this option. There is also satellite internet, which can be expensive.

Can you connect a 2-wire DSL wireless modem router to a cable modem?
This question can be understood with more than one meaning.
One meaning is that of a user that desires to connect an access point to retransmit internet from their cable modem to extend the bandwidth provided by their Cable ISP wireless to one or more users. For this, one must first check the acceptable use policy of the company which is providing the cable router. The hookup is quite straightforward. Setup the cable modem to deliver a static IP to the wireless router. Let the wireless router reassign IPs to the end users. If servers are to be parked behind the wireless router, then more engineering is required, which will not be covered here in this response. (Please ask another question regarding configuring servers behind cable modems.)
There are wireless router / gateway devices that you can hool up to a cable modem to provide auto failoever and auto failback during cable internet outages. One such device is the Nexus Hawk www.nexushawk.com. This wireless router device is inserted between the cable modem and the user network. The wireless router then provides internet access during intermitent outages. There are a few such products advertising this feature, but to date I have only seen the Nexus Hawk in use. I invite others to write of other products they have seen working in the field. This question can be understood with more than one meaning.

What are the Elements of optical fiber communication link?
If light meets the inner surface of the cladding (the core - cladding interface) at greater than or equal to Qc then TIR occurs. So all the energy in the ray of light is reflected back into the core and none escapes into the cladding. The ray then crosses to the other side of the core and, because the fiber is more or less straight , the ray will meet the cladding on the other side at an angle which again causes TIR. The ray is then reflected back across the core again and the same thing happens. In this way the light zig zags its way along the fiber. This means that the light will be transmitted to the end of the fiber.
In reality the light which enters the fiber is a focused beam, consisting of many millions of "rays" behaving in a similar way. They all zig zag along the core of the fiber, crossing over each other, and filling up the core with light. A pulse of light traveling along the core of the fiber is really a bundle of these rays.
What are the economic issues facing Germany today?
1. The cost of reunification was five times greater than predicted in the 'worst-case scenario'. 2. Germany is still making the transition from a largely manufacturing industry economy to a service based economy. The German economy is struggling because despite an extensive social security net, universal healthcare, generous pay, benefits and holidays, relatively low government debt and a large and sophisticated manufacturing sector based on capital equipment and high quality consumer goods (BMW, Schott glass) and overall excellent standard of living, the German people refuse to embrace the "quarterly profit margins determine economic success" system loved by the Anglophone world. Will they never learn? Incidentally, unemployment statistics in Germany are based on comprehensive, accurate surveys that give the true picture rather than the US idea of counting at least one hours work a week as employment and regarding anyone not claiming unemployment benefit but unemployed as nonexistent.

because they were very fast and smaller in size which helped in developing computer with great speed and in reducing computer sizes and also because they are smaller in size less power consumption was there and also they took very less time to activate unlike the ancient computers.
What year did Samuel B Morse invent the telegraph?
Samuel Morris and other inventors worked on developing a telegraph throughout the 1830's and the 1840's. Morris sent the first telegraph message from one of his fully operational machines in 1844.

How do you make telemarketers stop calling you?
You can place you telephone number on the national "do not call" registry. You can also tell them over the phone to place you on their "do not call" list. Once you have done this, they can be fined for each time they continue to call. You can find the national "Do Not Call" registry online or by calling 1-800-555-1212, which is the free 1-800 information line.
Unfortunately, there is no "Do Not Call List" for businesses who are bombarded even more than individuals. This bombardment can not only be a nuisance but steal valuable time and resources.
Answer
Customize your answering rule and pre set a list of contacts so that you can limit all incoming calls. Phone calls not included in your pre set list will be directed to your voicemail box.
Discussion of zener diode a voltage regulation?
A zener diode has a relatively flat voltage to current curve when reverse biased. Within limits, you can consider that the voltage across the zener diode is constant. You can use the zener as the primary regulator, so long as you consider the power requirements and dissipation of both the zener and the load, and you do not overload the zener. More often, the zener is used as a voltage reference in a larger power supply that uses other components, linear or switched, to supply the load.
