You have to remove the wheel hub and remove the c clip in the hub that secures the bearing. You can have the bearing/races pressed out or you can use a slide hammer to remove them. You will need to take care when installing new races that you don't scratch or nick them by using old races over the top of the new ones to drive them in with a hammer. You may just want to remove the hub and take to a shop and have them do it for you if you don't have the tools.

Underneath your vehicle, a steel threaded cable comes from the back of one hub and is joined by a short cable from the other hub--then the original cable runs to a threaded end with an adjuster nut in it--and one smaller nut on the end outside of that--(this is the equalizer bar)--you'll see it real close to your transmission.

Pull the parking brake lever up sharply and then release it. Pull the parking brake lever to the second click and leave it there. You're looking for a slight drag of the brake shoes when you spin the wheels. To increase the drag, get under at the equalizer bar and turn the adjusting nut to take up the slack in the cables. Get out and spin the rear wheels if you think it's to tight. I will say don't be afraid to crank on it for a while as in this case, a little adjustment really does not go a long way. When you think you have the drag right, go back in the car and pull the brake up the the fourth click. At this point the wheels should be locked and you should not be able to turn them even when trying hard. If you can, tighten them up a little more. Once you've done this, release the brake and make sure the wheels spin freely. If they are still binding due to the parking brake, back off the adjustment a little. And that's basically the whole adjustment procedure.

No, it should be on the front of the block under the exhaust manifold. Spin it off using a filter wrench, fill it half full of oil, lubricate the seal on the top of the filter with clean oil & spin it back on. Once you have it hand tight, tighten it 1/8th of a turn more with the filter wrench.

The alternator is on the passenger side between the firewall and the motor.

Take out the starter take take off the back lid and you will see the two clips inside that rub against the motor kind of like motor brushes. if they are worn replace them and you will have a new starter. you will hear a clicking noise when they are bad and you will not get your starter to start. Toyota starters do not go bad(quality product).

It is located under the hood on the drivers side firewall between the power brake booster and the carbon canister.

Follow the lower radiator hose to the engine. Therm is in the housing

I know the answer to this question could be confusing, so I'll elaborate. The housing is not exactly in line with the hose like on some vehicles. It's directly under the distributor.

The check engine light on a Toyota Tercel can come on for a variety of reasons. It can be come on whenever there is a problem with the engine that needs attention. To reset it, disconnect the battery for a few minutes then re-connect it.

The fuel pump is in the fuel tank. there is an access panel under the back seat to get to it.

To set the timing belt on a 1993 Tercel the cam shaft markets must be lined up top dead center. There are arrows engraved on the engine labeling where exactly to install the belt. Failure to correctly set the timing belt can lead to catastrophic engine failure.
