I have no idea either. I'm hopefully about to find out; it cannot be like building a castle USED to be, because the labor was very intense, many people died in the process of building castles, and they took years to construct. I assume it's a semi-manufactured shell of some kind of plaster solidified in a harder material and molded to look like stone(s)-but again, I have no idea. If I do find out how it was created I will update this response.
