Spread Spectrum Clocking is a way to lower electromagnetic interference or EMI. This is important for storage solutions that are required to pass FCC and other agency certifications. Today, some Serial ATA disk drives implement SSC, some allow you to turn this feature on/off, and some do not implement SSC; it is anticipated that all will implement this feature in the near future.=The technique of modulating the operating frequency of a circuit slightly to spread its radiated emissions over a range of frequencies rather than just one tone. Who were the starting 5 for UCLA freshmen basketball in 1965-66?

Lew Alcindor was a Senior in New York City at Power Memorial Academy in 1965, so I am sure it would have been a real surprise to his coach that he was also starting for UCLA. In fact, Lew Alcindor attended UCLA from the fall of 1965 through the spring of 1969. In 1965 freshmen were not eligible to play division one varsity basketball. He started on the UCLA men's freshmen team the entire 1965 - 66 season. The players on the 1965 team that won the 2nd NCAA title for UCLA were: Edgar Lacey Keith Erickson Doug McIntosh Gail Goodrich Freddie Gross Kenny Washington Mike Lynn Brice Chambers John Lyons Rich Levin John Galbraith Vaugh Hoffman The stats on the starters are as follows: Guard Gail Goodrich (24.8 ppg/5.3 rpg) Forward Keith Erickson (12.9 ppg/8.8 rpg) Guard Freddie Goss (12.2 ppg/3.3 rpg) Center Doug McIntosh (6.5 ppg/5.6 rpg) Forward Edgar Lacey (11.6 ppg/10.2 rpg). Actually UCLA is just like any other major Division I school; And as there is no specific activities that will sway the admissions board to say "wow that kid did that activity just for us" well all activities look the same to all colleges, and there arent any that are better then others, except maybe in the duration and quality department.

What is the minimum GPA requirement to get into UCLA freshman year?

I would say you would need a bare minimum of at least a 4.0 unweighted. I believe the average GPA last year was a 5.0 or 5.2. But the University of California's also look at your classes, not just your GPA. UCLA said they based their acceptance on three things: academics, involvement with your surroundings, and how you get past your problems or something. You also should have a good 1700ish on your SATs, i would shoot for 1900+ though.

University of California Los Angeles is not an easy school to get into.. and another thing to think about:

The University of California schools take GPA more seriously than some elite schools. Although you may have high SAT I and SAT Subject Test scores, GPA is the most important for Univ. of California's. If you plan to go to some elite school, make sure your test scores are high too.

AnswerTry going to their website. Also you need other things to get into a good college beside just a GPA. Some things they will look at include community service, sports, clubs, letters of recommendation, essays, and the list goes on. It's A 3.0 or Better all Great Colleges Accept 3.0 or Better
