What country is more powerful Britain or US?

The British couldn't even evade capture from Iran. Royal Marines and Royal Navy sailors couldn't even dectect the Iran Republican Guard that was on their way to capture them. The best would've saw that capture coming. It made a mokey out of the UK. This all happened while the US Navy was tracking the Iran boats on their way to caprture the Brits. The Americans were fully away that the Royal Navy was tracking the Iran speed boats so they decided not to give Iran the edge over the airwaves. The Americans were wroung because the Brits didn't know Iran was on their way. It's a mistake that was paraded on the National airwaves and made the USA depend more on the French Navy.

The USA even release a report calling the British military inafective. These reports were released by Manning the Army traitor.

The US Navy is 12 times more powerful than the Royal Navy. And has 1000% more offensive capabilty than the Royal Navy. The US Navy could circle the UK and starve the country to death. No other country could battle a US Fleet. Japan has a larger and better Navy than the UK. Hence, I haven't even got into the USAF, Marines, or USAF. The active duty US Marines has more helicopters, tanks, fighter jets, art, guns, special forces, and ect than the entire active duty British armed forces. The USMC has twice the machines and hardware than the entire British armed forces.

As for nukes, the UK has 300 and the USA has over 9,000. The only countries that could give the USA hell is China and Russia. The UK would be an easy task for the USA. Just starve the island nation without an invasion force with the Worlds most powerful Navy.

What is the anchorman in the us naval academy?

The Anchoman is the lowest ranked midshipman to make the cut for graduation. Tradition used to be that each person graduating gave the Anchorman $1 so it was not bad when it came to monetary compensation, but it was bad when the career assignments came out.

What are the causes of fire on board ships?

The causes of fire on a ship aren't a lot different than the causes of fires in any urban setting. There are electrical circuits. An electrical fire is possible. There is a lot of machinery. Machinery gets hot when it's operating. An overheating bearing could cause a fire. Ships have combustion systems for generating steam, or internal combustion engines to generate electricity, or even turbine engines like jet aircraft, all of which get very hot and can cause a fire. The closed machinery spaces and the volatility of fuel, of lubricants or of hydraulic fluids around the hot machinery can lead to a fire, or even an explosion. A collision at sea could initiate a fire. The ship's company has to eat, so there's a galley where food is prepared and cooking is done. There'd be the same fire hazards as in a restaurant kitchen, wouldn't there? Repairs are sometimes undertaken on ships, and metal cutting and welding equipment is carried and used to fix stuff. There are some more possible ways fires could be started. Static electricity can start a fire, and ships like oil tankers are specially grounded prior to loading or unloading to prevent this possibility. And military vessels face fire or explosion hazards associated with carrying munitions. Grain dust around grain elevators is a hazard. It's explosive. Ships carry grain in huge holds. Dust is generated when it is moved. Is someone carelessly smoking nearby? Just about anything that can cause a fire around your city or town can start one on a ship. Be smart, stay safe.

What is the paycheck for a navy seal?

What kind of star do you put on Navy and Marine Corps achievement Medal?

It depends on how many stars, what kind of stars, and how many ribbons you have...

In general...stars are worn in the middle of the medal. If you have more than one star, place them horizontally and in the middle of the medal in order of precedence. (examples: 2 stars the center line will be in between the two stars, 3 stars the center line will be the middle star).
Note: stars are placed with 1 point up and 2 points down

If you have overlapping medals, just push stars to the left until all are visible. If they cannot all be seen when placed horizontally, you can place them vertically.

hope this helps

How do you say yes in the navy?

The Navy has developed a whole language of its own over the centuries. Typically someone that has been given an order will respond with Aye, Sir! or Aye Aye, Sir! The single Aye is normally used with a repeated order, such as "Aye, Sir! Coming to heading 240, Sir!" where is Aye aye is used independent of anything else. A commanding officer, and only the commanding officer, can reply, Wilco! Which is short for "Will Comply."

Delta is a harder selection process but that's because it is a Tier 1 unit. The Navy seals have their own Tier 1 unit 'DEV GRU' who are as good as Delta. 'DevGru'` is the elite counter terrorism cadre of the NAVY and was responsible for the mission to kill osama bin laden.

Actual fleet configuration and numbers is considered critical data that can be used by an enemy for attack planning, which is the reason it is not released as a definitive number to the public.

Can a Canadian citizen join the marines?

If you first obtain a green card/American citizenship, then yes. Otherwise no. Canada has the best trained soldiers in the world, quantity is lower so they go for quality everytime. I remember finding out that ever soldier in the Canadian Army has the equivalent training as 7+ of our guys, because they had less men to do the same job, they all needed to be proficient in as many skills as possible. First time meeting Canadians for this souther boy, and it impressed the hell out of me.

Can you join the navy if you had a stroke?

It depends on the extent of the surgery and underlying reason, but usually not. Fusions are automatic disqualifiers, and any invasive surgery is usually to correct an injury or underlying disease. Those alone are usually enough to disqualify you.

Even if it isn't, the current recruiting climate favors the military rather than the recruit. During economic bad times, the military and civil service are the first places people turn to because they're secure jobs. Retention is high, and since there are so many recruits, the military can pick and choose the best candidates. Anyone with a problem isn't going to be on the top rung of choices.

While there are waivers for anything in the military, when dealing with medical matters the person has to have some background or knowledge skill that places him/her above all other prospects for the Navy to go against set regulations, and even then the skill has to be in an area where the medical problem won't likely be a factor. There are few jobs in the Navy where your back isn't strained. My own Navy career helped degenerate my back faster than it would've normally.

A crisis can be caused by a variety of factors such as natural disasters, financial collapses, political unrest, public health emergencies, and others.

In a crisis, normal operations are disrupted, and decision-makers are faced with difficult choices and a high degree of uncertainty. The outcome of a crisis can have far-reaching consequences, and the way it is handled can shape public perception and trust, determine the success or failure of an organization, and even impact the course of history. Effective crisis management requires a clear understanding of the situation, effective communication, quick decision-making, and the ability to coordinate and execute a response plan. It is important to be proactive and prepared for potential crises, and to have a plan in place for how to respond in the event that one occurs.
