The sound of the strings will also sound deeper since the viola is bigger and has a lower register than the violin. Playing the instruments is quite different as it takes a good deal more bow pressure and a more dramatic (or aggressive) technique for the viola, in order to get enough sound. Many violists begin as violinists. It is difficult for children to handle a viola and most students cannot manage a full-sized viola until their teen years. And finally, the bigger the viola the more resonance; this is an eternal struggle. How large can the instrument get and still be playable?

well, there is only one sheet music hat I found, but it wasn't for melody...it was the harmony and it had mostly whole notes. so it depends on what you are looking for.

No, you do not blow into a viola. It has strings. You would get the strings yucky.

The smallest string is string 1. it goes on the on the lower right peg when facing the front of the viola with the pegbox up.

String 2 goes on the upper right peg.

String 3 goes on the upper left peg.

String 4 goes on the lower left peg.

There should be some old strings on it. Put the news ones where the old ones are.
