you get a cord and hook it up to the computer. then hook it to the camera (i it fits) and then if you are using skype then install the type of camera and computer for the hooked up camera. then you should be able to use it.

i tryed to down load the cisco vt camera 11.but when it was trying to install on my computer it said could not find a program.what should i do..or is there something i should do .im running windows vista...

Well a computer is a piece of hardware and whatever is installed into is a software and a webcam is installed so it is a software.

There is a driver website, named Driverguide.com, you can sign up for the free account there and it is the most efficent driver website ive ever used, i just did a search for that model of webcam and it was listed, so just sign up then put in that model name and the put in the model number and they should have the driver u need for it, because they do have that company listed. But the registration is absolutely free.
