Two answers:

1) highlight the the file or folder, right-click, then monkey around in the Security settings. Good look. It'll work sometimes, but many times it won't. It's time-consuming and will have you tearing your hair out.

2) Install "Total Commander", locate the offending file or folder, then select Delete (lower-right of box).

Enter BIOS and make sure the DVD is 1st boot priority.

Use a bootable Windows 7 DVD, a clean install should replace the bootmanager.

Right click the application and choose "Run as Administrator".

By choosing properties from the list instead and going into the compatibility tab you can put this application to always launch as administrator.

This is because you do not have permission to open it, or you are on a windows server workstations and that snap in has been disabled. This would appear on programs like group policy editor or disk defrag.

You need to open them as an administrator.

You can make a FoxPro exe if you will build it, located on the left side of the Project Manager

On Build Action choose Rebuild Project, and on Option choose Recompile All Files. Then click Ok.

Then provide application name and you have the exe.

When viewing the properties of a drive the tools tab allows you to check the drive for errors and/or optimize (defragment) the drive

Try uninstalling the Google tool Bar for Internet Explorer. For some reason it has a tendency to become corrupt. Go in your Start Menu - Settings - Control Panel and from this Window select Add/Remove Programs and Remove the Google Tool Bar for Internet Explorer. Reboot your Pc and your problem should be Fix. I also have Greetings Workshop 1996...I successfully installed it into my new laptop with Windows 7 and get the same error message...I tried searching Microsoft.com downloads for answers and got none...I have no clue how to set memory on the Windows 7 and would not want to decrease my memory just for one program...Has anyone found a down loadable update for Greetings Workshop??? Seems changing the memory would not be the best way in the long run...

if that doesn't work move the downloaded files to a folder that you know that syncs properly
