Hit the mode button, scroll down to the line that says, "MathPrint Classic."

Once you have that line highlighted, hit the right arrow to highlight Classic, hit enter, and presto, no more MathPrint mode. Exit with Clear.

Double click on the Recycle Bin icon, then Double click on the folder you want to restore, then hit Restore in the box that appears

you have to find the main folder in your computer with fireforx on it, and delelte it form the main hard drive, then delete it from your recycling bin aswell ...

By default all the icons are are displayed on desktop but you can hide them. You can use desktop context menu to hide or show, right click on desktop, go to 'view' options and uncheck 'show desktop options'. To make them visible again simply check the 'show desktop options'.

You can also use .reg file for showing or hiding.

Show: 'Show_Desktop_Icons.reg

Hide: 'Hide_Desktop_Icons.reg'

Coming from the an Alienware guy, I would hate to say it... yes. it is just a keyboard. it comes with a program to change the lights. it is a normal USB keyboard.

In the end, I would not spend $99 on a board for a computer that unlike the keyboards on Alienware PCs do not light up... it would be like putting pimped out tires on a sunfire 0_o

If you do have an Alienware PC that keyboard will look mint with it.

The hard drive will always start up when it's plugged in and the computer is turned on. The only way to stop this is to unplug the drive from the computer. But Just turning on and spinning up, will not cause significant ware on the read heads or platters. It would actually keep the drive from getting "rusty". Not that it actually rusts, however.

"Real" ware is usually caused by the read/write heads moving around and reading/writing stuff to/from the disk. Windows will occasionally read or write small bits of data from the secondary drive, during it's normal routines, but not any significant amount.

But if you REALLY want it to stop running, then you would need to turn the computer off, unplug the power cord from it, unscrew the side panel off the computer case, and pop it open, then unplug the drive you're not using. Then you'd need to set the jumper on the drive that's plugged in to "Master without Slave", or "Cable Select". The jumper is a little block that sets onto two pins on the drive to short a circut between them and tell the drive what it's position is, basically. it will usually look like a small white block stuck into some pins. The drive should have a label telling you what pins to place the jumper on. Cable Select is the easiest setting, because it will automatically detect what it should be based on it's position on the data cable. You would put both drives on CS and they'll work. But sometimes the computer won't like that and that's when you set it manually, Master and Slave, or Primary and Secondary.

If you disconnect the drive on the end of the cable (primary/master) then you'll need to move the other one up from the second connector to the first, on the end of the cable.

Then close the case, and plug the computer in. It should only have one option in the drive selection, or not even ask, and just boot to the one plugged in. If it doesn't boot, then you set the jumpers wrong or have the drive on the wrong part of the data cable. The Data cable is a wide, flat ribbon cable with (usually) two rectangular connectors on it. The Power cable is a four pin connector with red, black, and yellow wires.

The above describes the old ATA connectors for ATA drives. It could also be the new SATA (Serial ATA) drives and connectors, which are a lot easier to connect and transfar data faster. They look like small little cords with no obvious pins or holes. SATA doesn't require setting jumpers, and it should not even have one.

And when messing with the drives, always make sure the computer is OFF and unplugged. And if you can't get it to work with the new configuration, put everything back the way it was. If you really worried, you could even take pictures, to make sure you get it all back to how it was before.

But like said above, just leaving the drives alone won't cause any significant harm to them. and you would have to do this procedure every time you wanted to switch from XP to Vista or vice versa.

go to start -> run and type "regsvr32 /u vsfilter.dll" (without the quotes) and press enter. from Spike then nothing happened except a message stating expired or something, i then went into my folder where the problem was it was still the same. so i then tried the next option which was stated by Peddant Go to Start/Run/and type - regsvr32 /u shmedia.dll click OK. which this fixed the roblem this information is to help those whom are still struggling --------------------------

NO. In the absence of anti-virus software that will remove a virus, upgrading will not do the job. Doing a clean install of the full Operating System (OS) after formatting your hard drive is the only solution.

The key to a "clean install" is making sure that your method of formatting wiped the hard drive clean with zeros and ones.

There are other solutions actually. I have not resorted to a format to eliminate a virus in a long time. Use any of a number of commercial anti-virus programs to eliminate the virus then run the SFC /scannow command to repair the system files.

After everything is clean then you can uograde windows.

To get to SFC /scannow you will need to go to start/ run - then type in SFC /scannow. Remember to put a space between SFC and the forward slash.

Many of Microsoft's USB Sidewinder products will work with Mac OS X. The addition of the GamePad Companion software (See links below) will allow for configuring the device with most Mac OS X software.

It appears Microtrend only scans individual folders? I don't see a way to tell it to scan the registry? Am I missing something? Please advise?

Nevigate to registry key you want to access.

Right click on the key.

Click on permissions.

Allow full permissions for yourself.

If it does not allow you to do so then do same procedure in safe mode.

In Windows 2000 and later (including XP) you simply need to enter "cmd" into the run dialog box. This runs the cmd.exe program located in your windows installation folder. In earlier versions of Windows (i.e. 9X/ME), you would need to enter "command". This runs the command.com program, typically located on the root of the C: drive.

It sounds like you make the new hard drive the "primary" rather than the "secondary" drive. Check the drive jumpers (tiny little pieces of plastic that connect two wires) and make sure that your original drive is set to "Primary" and the second disk is set to "slave" or "secondary". The jumper positions are generally available on the web site for the drive manufacturer, such as Seagate or Western Digital. You will need to know the model numbers of the drives.
