Basically their are no difference between any old version of tally & tally.erp9 because it is not different from its prior version but their are various additions to functionality & report capabilities that have been improved & are still getting improved / added even if you compare version 4.5 with erp9 all the things you could do in 4.5 you can do way better in erp9 & further assurance is that it will be improved to a lot more.

so don't look for differences look for additions. & to look for additions just take a look at the help file that comes with installer

You can't do an incremental upgrade between Windows XP and Windows 7. Although you can buy an upgrade version of 7, when you perform the upgrade the previous installation (and any previously installed data and applications) are removed.

If you bought the machine with Windows XP, you should run the Microsoft Windows 7 compatibility check (downloadable from the Microsoft website) to check that your machine and peripherals will actually run Windows 7.

So, to safely perform the upgrade you must back up all your data (you do that anyway, right?) and make sure you have the original installation disks and registration keys for your applications. Some applications, such as Adobe Photoshop, are "registered" with Adobe upon installation - they should be de-registered so that you can install them safely on the new Windows 7.

When you install Windows 7, you can choose to install the 64 bit version instead of the 32 bit version. The 64 bit version is considered the "future" of Windows - the majority of Windows 7 installations are 64 bit - but some caution may be required; older 16 bit applications (which include many games) can't be installed on the 64 bit version of Windows 7. If you have older applications which need to run on Windows 7, it would be wise to check that they work with 7 or, at least, aren't 16 bit applications (ie designed for Windows 98) before installing the 64 bit version.

Windows XP. Windows 98 never had a secure design to begin with, and it has received no security updates since 2006. Windows XP is still receiving security updates, and will continue to do so until 2014.

Are you saying you set a password in the computer bios that requires you to enter that before the computer fully turns on?

If so, then you're kinda screwed. I don't know of any way to by-pass that.

If you're saying you forgot the password to the user to log-in to the computer, you can make a password reset disc and reset the password.

This is done through the File Attribute control. You will need to change the Attributes of whatever files you wish to be locked by switching the files to Read-Only.

This can be done in a few ways. Right click on file and select properties. Check the read-only checkbox and then click apply and ok.

Or, you can do this through Command line and the syntax should be like below:

attr C:\urfile2blocked.xxx +R

.XXX = the application extension of the said file and +R applies the Read-Only to the file. If you want to unlock it do

attr C:\urfile2blocked.xxx -R

Whatever you choose it to be, if you find an image that you like, on the web, in your pictures folder etc. , you can right click it and press "Set as desktop Background".

You can simply copy paste the folder but it might not work after transferring. this is because all the folder information and files location is registered in the registry while installing the program. In this case you have to reinstall the program to your external drive.

Icons are part of the GUI (Graphical User Interface) and the GUI lets you interact with the computer's operating system, such as letting you create documents, view pictures, run a program, etc, to name a few.
