There is no user information contained in the Yamaha outboard serial number other than identification of the particular engine to which it is attached. All information for the Yamaha is contained in the model number, i.e...... F6ESRY F = Model Designation (Four Stroke) 6 = Prop Shaft Horsepower (6 HP) E = Trim & Tilt / Starting Method (Electric Start) S = Shaft Length (15") R = Control Method (Remote Control) Y = Model Year (2000)
The stator is bad.. Or the pulser coil
I just bought an 85 IT 200. The previous owner had problems fouling spark plugs until a shop told him to mix it 36:1. He hadn't fouled a plug since then.
The state of Israel needs to be broken up into two autonomous states so that the fighting will end.
You can't. The computer controls the air/fuel mixture depending the information it receives from various sensors. If one of the information it receives is incorrect, this can affect the air/fuel mixture.
This would depend on what type of oil you will be using for your premix. The oil base stock is either petroleum, semi-synthetic or synthetic oil and is mixed with gas at a ratio ranging from 16:1 (petroleum) to as high as 100:1 (synthetic). I personally ride a 2001 Kawasaki KDX200 that I run Yamalube 2R at 36:1 with no problems. Although synthetics say you can mix them at 100:1 I would not, that seems way too lean to me.

Stand your bike upright. Get down and look where you put the oil in, then look even lower and you will sew a window the size of a half doallr coin. If the oil level is below 25% you need oil.
Sometimes I have found a couple Virago's where the Seat ISN'T held down by bolts at all but a latch kinda like a latch to a cars hood. Remove the Left side cover. In the Middle of the seat, where the rider and passenger point is; there is two metal pieces protruding downward. Feel for the one in the back. Push it forward. This latch is attached to a rod that goes to the other side so by rotating the left side it also unlatches the right side.
I hope this helps someone else!
In the two stroke petrol engine as you know suction, compression, ignition, expansion and exhaust is completed in only two stroke and one revolution of crank wheel
more over diesel ignites at very high pressure which is not the same in case of petrol........if petrol is also ignited under pressure it explodes producing a big thumping sound.called KNOCKINGthis may reduce the power output and also lead to breakdown of the engine.
For the above reason two stroke engine cannot compress air and ignite the fuel like diesel engine.
The Big Bear has been reproduced in a new model every year, and without looking at your four wheeler, it can't be accurately said. Your VIN is only thirteen characters in length, and VIN decoders online need a length of seventeen characters in length. If you find the 17 character code, enter than into a decoder, or look in a search engine at Big Bears and try to match up a picture with yours to find your year. Good luck. thats all wrong its the 10th letter in the vin yours is a 2002

I just saw him hosting a TV show(10/16/2012). He is suffering from some form of nerve damage or condition. He speech is slurred from what appears to be a modest lack of control or strength in his tongue muscles. He has function in both arms but his left arm seemed 'weaker'. These issues can be caused by a host of problems.
It is common for old people to suffer mild strokes. Dan Rather is over 80 and is an admitted cigar smoker. I can find no specific news of Dan's issue.
