Sorry to say but you are not an expert on tea cup yorkies just because you have one yorkie. I am a breeder of Yorkshire Terriers.

First of all I do not breed a teacup or runt as you call it, to another teacup to get a teacup, because I would be having C sections on every birth. To get a teacup I breed my largest females to my 2 and 3 lb males.

In case anyone is confused on the difference between Yorkies, teacups, Yorkshire Terriers----- they are all Yorkshire Terriers called by different names, some are smaller or bigger than others but all are Yorkshire Terriers and as a breeder, there is no such thing as a runt. I have several beautiful teacup yorkies that weigh between 1 lb. 11 oz. and 3 lbs full grown and all came from tiny daddy and large mommy parents.

Are you asking , if something hunts them? If so , yes, just in the way if your yorkie is on the smaller type, hawkes and other big birds will take your yorkie. well if there is rain or lighting let them up in bed with u. just like kids they dont know what is going on. they dont know if they are going to be killed so rap them in a blanket let them feel like ur there and soothe them and say its ok dont yell at them and say shut ur damn mouth that just makes things worse. also u might want to leave a little place under ur bed my yorkie likes that but if she goes pee on the floor she hides there also if they get a treat they take it back there.

I can not tell you what all yorkies sound like, but usually they have a very high pitch and loud bark. My yorkie specificaly has sort of a purring sound. To narrow it down he sounds a little like gizmo on the movie Gremlins!! :)

It really depends on how well you take care of the yorkie. I myself have a teacup yorkie and she is 10 years old and still living. we brought her to the vet and they said she should live another 5-10 years.
