I highly advise NOT feeding pot to your dog. Or yourself, for that matter. However, a pot brownie would likely make him boring and sleepy. Or, if he has a freakout, he'll just be boring and scared. Oh, and chocolate is poisonous to dogs.

Can you bring brownies into Canada?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Many nations have strict policies concerning what is allowed in and out of their country, whether or not you are a citizen of that country. In order to protect their country from invasive and potentially destructive insects, bugs, animals, plants, disease, etc, they have the right to inspect all travelers' possessions. According to the Government of Canada Customs link, below, if the border agent decides that your item - - edible or otherwise - - requires an inspection, then they will charge you a fee. If they decide the item is harmless - - which may require x-raying the cake and even slicing it open - - then they will hand it back to you; if not, then they will confiscate and destroy it. So, given the choice between bringing a cake into a country and risking having to pay a fee or having the cake destroyed, or baking or buying a cake with materials purchased in that country, it would seem best to bake or buy, not to mention that your cake may suffer damage during your travels long before it gets to the border.

What effect does oil have on brownies?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Yes: THC is fat-soluble, so cooking it in any fat - including oil - will work. Butter is more typically used, and is likely tastier for sweet foods; oils would be better for more savory foods. You can find a recipe for cannaboil on the following website: http://cannabiscookbook.blogspot.com/2008/09/basic-cannaboil.html They also have a recipe for cannamilk which can also be used in pot brownies.

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Brownies are denser.

The proportions of sugar / fat / flour are different in brownies and chocolate cakes. Brownies have relatively little flour and more cocoa (or chocolate) than chocolate cakes have. That is why one eats a much smaller piece of brownies than one eats of chocolate cake.

What if you need two eggs for brownies and have none?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

It is possible to use less eggs than a recipe calls for, because I have done it many times. Usually, they'll be a slight change in texture, like the cake may come out tougher or crumblier, but it will still be edible. There are also sites that will tell you other ingredients you may add to make up for a deficiency of one particular ingredient that will also salvage a cake. In certain circumstances, you could also cut your recipe in half.
