A hypotonic solution has a lower concentration of solutes compared to the solution it is being compared to. When a cell is placed in a hypotonic solution, water will move into the cell causing it to swell and potentially burst due to osmotic pressure.
Ethyl glucuronide (EtG) is a direct metabolite of ethanol alcohol. The presence of EtG in the urine can be used to detect recent alcohol consumption, even after the ethanol alcohol is no longer measurable.
The presence of EtG in the urine demonstrates that ethanol alcohol was ingested within the past three or four days, or roughly 80 hours after the ethanol alcohol has been metabolized by the body.
As a result, it can be determined that a urine alcohol test employing EtG is a more accurate indicator of the recent consumption of alcohol as opposed to simply measuring for the existence of ethanol alcohol.
What percentage of alcohol in the body's blood determines intoxication if given a Breathalyzer test?

How do i find info on treating alcohol withdrawl?
You can telephone Alcoholics Anonymous and you don't need to give a name but I would and ask them to send you information on their program. They won't bother you after that because they know the person phoning has to make up their own mind as to whether they are serious enough to quit drinking. AA has a great support group and the alcoholic has others in the same situation so they don't feel so alone.
I think this is a very personal question and should not be asked on Answers.com. Plus there is over thousands of people on Answers.com. Whats the point in asking?
Answer
I believe that most people can suffer from a mild form of depression at some point in their lives. Something happens which makes us withdraw into our shell. It does not last long as there will always be something or someone who will prise that shell open, and we are none the worst for our experience. We may even have learned something from what we went through.
Alcohol depresses the central nervous system which makes it what?
If you think of the brain as a central computer that controls all the functions of your body, then the nervous system is like a network that relays messages back and forth from it to different parts of the body. It does this via the spinal cord, which runs from the brain down through the back and contains threadlike nerves that branch out to every organ and body part. When a message comes into the brain from anywhere in the body, the brain tells the body how to react. For example, if you accidentally touch a hot stove, the nerves in your skin shoot a message of pain to your brain. The brain then sends a message back telling the muscles in your hand to pull away. Luckily, this neurological relay race takes a lot less time than it just took to read about it!
How much water will I have to drink to flush body of meth in one day?
I can't really say how much water to drink, but from what I was told, that if you basically drown your body in water to the point where you can't stand it, you should come out clean. This information also came from someone who works on the inside. How true it is I have yet to see.
New Answer: well I'm not so sure about meth i do believe that will be out of your system in 3 days anyway but as far as THC goes i am a woman weighing 172lbs and my mom is an LPN and she says to drink an ounce of water per pound a day to flush THC! i weigh 172lbs therefore i should drink 172oz of water a day which equals 21 and a half glasses... coffee also helps because it is a diuretic and naturally makes you pee and it doesn't matter if you add creme and sugar or not! but to answer your question drink until your pee turns clear but do be aware that you can kill yourself by overdosing on water! not sure how that works exactly but i do know that you can so my best answer would be like i said drink an once of water for every pound you weigh and good luck! not sure how its going to work seeing as i am just beginning to flush today and not sure when my test will be (sometime in the next 2 months). but when i do take my test and i get the results i will post my results then! thanks and keep on drinking! o wait i forgot to mention maby you could become and alcoholic for a few days ha ha because i know it to makes you pee pee alot and your not so much getting it out of your system as much as you are diluting it for the test so alcohol might be an alternative! i mean if you don't mind drinking!

If, when you honestly want to quit (quit means stop for good), you find that you cannot or if when drinking you have little control over the amount you take, then you are probably alcoholic. When you don't drink are you irritable, restless, discontented? In other words,m do you feel worse without it that with it? Alcoholism has nothing to do with how much you drink. If you spend more time drinking than at work or home if your 2nd address is the bar. If your friends come looking for you after you get off work and go straight to the bar. if you spend more money on drinking than your rent Answer If you ask the question, you probably are to one degree or another (and there are degrees). There are a number of tests you can take confidentially available over the net, but it boils down to this: Is drinking negatively effecting your life (family, work, friendships, etc.)? Once you have a drink, do you tend to have a second, or more? If you haven't had your first drink of the day, are you planning it, or looking forward to it? Many people who contact AA aren't sure - though they are concerned enough to ask the question. Try calling AA in your area - they will help you to decide in a confidential way and without asking you for any commitment. You do not have to be an alcoholic to 'join'. The ONLY requirement for full membership is a desire to stop drinking. Good Luck! Answer: Brett Gyllenskog is an alcoholic. Others can only identify alcoholic behavior. However, as with any addiction, if drinking is causing problems in your life -- from just feeling lousy when you aren't drinking, to family issues, to DUIs, jail, etc. -- and you feel as though you have to keep on doing it anyway...well....
Most people don't voluntarily continue to do things that cause trouble for them. When we do, we need to examine our reasons.
