Humans have different eye colours because the genes that they get from their parents genes. The genes are resopnsible for choosing what colour your eyes are. The more dominant colour would be picked from your parents. For example my mums are green and my dads are brown. Brown is the darkest colour so therefore it's the most dominant. This explains why my younger brother is also brown eyed. :) x

From what I've learned, if someone is light skinned of the black race, it simply means somewhere in this persons family history there are white people on their family tree. Dark skinned people are less likely to have white ancestors or blood family members down the family tree.

The Hawthorne effect is a phenomenon where individuals modify their behavior because they are aware of being observed. This can lead to changes in behavior or performance that may not be reflective of their true capabilities or habits. The effect was first observed during a series of experiments conducted at the Western Electric Hawthorne Works in the 1920s and 1930s.

Primary group is a small social group whose members share personal and enduring relationship. Secondary group is a large social group and impersonal group whose members pursue a specific goal or activity.

This is not about social politics, we don't have to be all the same, i.e. "there is only one, the human race", to treat people with respect. We are allowed to acknowledge genealogically divergent family groups that become genetically-phenotypically and culturally distinct. This phenomenon is understood by laymen as race and ethnicity.

Saying there is one race, the human race, defeats the purpose of recognizing racial groups which is to categorize our differences. Embrace the diversity.

Three aspects of American culture are but are not limited to the American flag as a symbol, language, and the internet. These three aspects are all innovations unique to this society.

The American flag to Americans isn't just a flag; it symbolizes many aspects that make up this country. The American flag is comprised of red and white stripes and white stars on a blue background. The colors that make up the American flag according to the House of Representatives in a book that was published in 1977 explains that the white symbolizes purity and innocence, red stands for hardiness and bravery, and the blue is the color of the Chief. The broad band above the stripes signifies attention, firmness and justice. The star symbolizes the heavens and the celestial purpose to which man has desired from the beginning of time. The stars collectively represent each state within America that make up the United States. The stripes are the rays of light stemming from the sum. In simple terms when many Americans see the flag to them it means honor, freedom, loyalty, strength, and bravery to name a few (Streufert, 1994). To deface an American flag shows to utmost disrespect to all Americans and out country. This is why many rival countries play upon this act to show they do not like Americans.

Language is unique to this society simply because there are many different cultures living within this country that have adopted the English language as their second language as a means to further themselves while living in America. I think it shows a lot to have had immigrants of yesterday and today enter this country with their native language and their families and out of eagerness learn the American way start by learning the common language. Although languages of these immigrants are still spoken in America within their own cultural groups English is still spoken. Today America is a bilingual country because of the many immigrants who now call America their home. As a result of this many American citizens have chosen to learn other languages as well.

The World Wide Web is certainly an innovation unique to American society. The WWW also known as the internet has changed the way we communicate in and outside of the United States. Born in 1992, since then us as Americans have learned how to live in a society where we can send emails all over the world as well as shop online. Because of this unique innovation many American can save money and time by using the internet instead of the post office.

Although the question isn't as specific as I would personally like it to be, I believe you are speaking of the classification system for living organisms: Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species.

For example, all birds are in the Animalia Kingdom, Phylum of Chordata (with a backbone), and Class Aves (birds). At the Order level, the birds begin to diverge. For instance, the pelicans are in the Pelecaniformes Order while the nuthatches are in the Passeriformes Order. Next comes the Family with the pelicans in the Pelecanidae family and the nuthatches in the Sittidae family. At the genus level, the nuthatches are in the genus Sitta. At the species level, there are the White-breasted Nuthatch (Sitta carolinensis), Red-breasted Nuthatch (Sitta canadensis), Brown-headed Nuthatch (Sitta pusilla) and Pygmy Nuthatch (Sitta pygmaea). The scientific names are all in Latin so that scientists around the world can communicate in a common language. A White-breasted Nuthatch can then be classified as: Kingdom: Animalia

It has become a fad in the United States and Europe to have modern housing with contemporary luxuries in or built around a tree. Entire television shows are devoted to it. Indigenous people, while living close to and depending greatly on trees, mostly lived around or under them rather than in them.
