How do you remove the rear brake drum on a 2002 Chevrolet s10?

Once vehicle is supported on jack stand and wheel is off:

1: look at base of lug nut studs and see if there is a clip against the drum. If there is a clip, pry off with screw driver and discard. If no clip don't worry it was removed or fell off already.

2: Grab drum with both hands and pull evenly (slight back and forth or rocking motion may be used) on the drum. Hand positions 3 and 9 or 12 and 6. There is a small lip on back edge of drum to grab for extra grip but, Do Not pull on back plate. You can feel where drum stops and back plate begins but rotating drum slightly, since, the back plate will not move like the drum.

Drum should slide off wheel studs easily. Do Not use any oil on any of these parts you can damage the brakes and lug nuts might not stay tight once finished.

Where is the fuel pump located on a 1988 Chevrolet one ton truck with dual tanks?

If you have a fuel injected engine it is in the fuel tank. If you have a carb model it is located ( from the driver seat ) on the front right side of the engine at the bottom of the engine. There is a trick to holding the push rod up on these. There is a short bolt in the front of the engine near the fuel pump that you will remove, install a longer bolt in the hole to pinch the push rod tight, change out pump. remove long bolt and install short bolt. hole must have short bolt or it will leak oil excessively. The only purpose of this hole is to aid in fuel pump change.
