An eidograph is a mechanical device used to reduce or enlarge the scale of a drawing or make a copy of a drawing at the same scale. It is similar in use to a pantograph, but was generally considered to be more accurate. It was invented by an Englishman in the 1820's and was used into the early 1900's.

From what I can see online, his work sells from $50. - $150.00, at auction. Seems low to me.

About $4 a pen and about $70 for a set.

Both are just as good as each other if you get the more exspensive brands, quite often cheap markers are not very good, but as long as you keep the fabric tight it should be fine. personally I prefer fabric paint but either will do. Including fabric pastells

If you are working on a small item or want to do detail work, a good set of fabric markers are invaluable. Their down side is the smaller number of colours available. With fabric paints you can cover a larger area with less work, They come in a wide selection of colours and being able to mix colours gives you much more flexibility.

If you are speaking of live models, they are called manikins. Artist models are supposed to hold the pose that they are placed in for long periods of time. Since this has been a practice for nearly every artist that there ever was, the term carried over to plaster dummies. Dress dummies are also called manikins for that very reason.

To make a figure anthropomorphic, you add human features, such as giving a monkey a human style nose or lips instead of monkey lips. Another way to do this would be to give a human head some animal features, like wolf ears for a werewolf, or perhaps ears and snout to accentuate wolfish characteristics. Push the eraser cap down and hold it down. This opens the mechanism so that you can drop the leads into the barrel of the pencil. When the lead is loaded, release the cap and click the lead into place.

well if you want to you can use some graph paper and make an scale drawing...it is really easy im doing it in industrial tech.

You use a pencil, and some paper. Preferabally, graph paper. All you have to do is set your mousetrap car down, and start from the sideview. Then draw a front view, and a birds eye view.

Get a pencil to draw this stuff. Okay, first draw a oval for the body and a circle for the head. Make a snout at the end of the circle, near the bottom. Then draw two triangles going into the circle. then make a smaller triangle inside of the triangles. Then come from the oval and make a tail shaped thing that is wide and long, remember to make the tail faced down! Then make make eight lines and connnect each pair at the bottom. Then make a half oval at the bottom of all the pairs. Then take a black marker or pen and out line it again. Go straight from the circle and then catch up to the oval. Then go around the wide and long tail, around the connected pairs and half circles and until you get back to the other part of where you begun. Then make the snout go into the head a little more. Then go from the top of the snout (that is inside the circle) and make a little oval from the top and to one inch after the half of the outline oval. take make. Then, a smaller circle and color the last little circle black. Make another oval circle circle black circle again. Outline the triangles and mini triangles inside. After you have outlined everything, add on claws on the bottom of the pairs of legs. Then erase all the pencil marks. Then color the fox in with a colored pencil that is red/orange. then color the oval circle black circle what ever color you want. Color the uncolored circle what ever color you want. I recommend blue and green or brown. Color the mini triangles light pink or a peach. Now, you've drawn a fox! Hope this helps!

You have to keep practicing, I'm trying to draw spiky hair too (I got floppy hair good). It's hard to explain, but I will explain it as best as I can. You have to make some kind of zig-zag pattern on the head, maybe curve it slightly if you are just drawing the side of the persons head. (LIKE I SAID, ITS HARD TO EXPLAIN) :(

You can make two lines (The way you want it)and then put triangles without bottoms and there you go. But if you want different ones look what people have on televison and you will have different ones that you may like and can draw.

A tripod is a three legged stand, usually made to be broken down simply or carried to a different location. It is used as a base to position a camera, telescope or even an easel.

A drawing would show a three legged stand, each leg pointing out.

schematic drawings explain electrical circuits. First you must know the basic requirments for any curcuit.

1. All circuits must do work. ( without a load the wiring becomes the load and it burns up. This is known as a short circuit.

2. All circuits must have an electrical path. From a voltage sourse to a load and back to the source.

3. There must be a way to control the electrical force. for example to turn it on and off.

When looking at schematics there are essential questions you should ask yourself. What is the intent of the circuit? How is it controlled? Where is the load? What is the load? Where is/are the controlling switches...etc? Is the contol voltage the same as the load voltage? What coil controls what contacts?

Schematics are often laid out as ladder diagrams. These show each simple circuit one at a time. IF they are now laid out a ladder diagrams many find it useful to redraw the schematics to put them in that form.

Schematics use symbols it represent different parts of the circuit. Often circles will denote a coil portion of a relay (or automatic switch) Often there will be a letter in the circle to identify the coil. That letter will also be assigned to sets of contacts that that coil operates. Contacts can be NO normally open or NC normally closed. Normally closed means that there is an electrical path across the contacts when the coil is not energized. Normally open means that the switch is off or there is no electrical path across the switch when the controlling coil is not energized.

This is a long subject and I will add to it from time to time. and any who know the subject are invited to add information to this answer as they wish.

To seal Copic marker into canvas, a special tool called an embossing gun can be used. It looks something like a hair dryer and gets very hot. Use a back and forth motion on low to dry the Copic marker on a canvas object.
