To be really practical I have seen wives or husbands complaining that their husband is not financially sound, has some mental illness, or whatever. As an individual with a right to live, their decision to affront a relationship dissecting it as personal pain is justified. Everyone has right to choose a happy life for themselves, it is their prerogative.
But there are some people or relationships based on pure love, which survive everything. Where a person can sacrifice his/her entire life caring for a disabled person. It is not impose by any law or any bond of matrimony but the feelings to care for a person, not leave him/her comes from the selfless love, where our life has a purpose , the purpose is love for the other.

As you are 17 you can go to the doctors without your parents having to know and can ask them if you are able to go on the pill to which they should give you a prescription for them all of this can be done without your parents knowledge that's what I did to get mine. After that its up to you to make sure that they don't see them or see you taking them but think it through properly before you go on it!
