How do you answer What do you have to offer in a relationship?

What Do You Have to Offer? Wrong start! Answer him/her: "Your question should be: What do we have to offer to each other in a relationship?" Yes, it is important to talk about your expectation and whether the other party recognizes them and is willing to accept them but also will "attempt" to fulfill them. But these expectations should be reality based. You can not promise to fulfill his/her needs when you feel that to fulfill those needs would place a special burden on you. This must always be a "Tit for Tat" proposition. In other words that "if you will do this, I will do that." Read more about the "Tit for Tat" method in the book recommendation # 2 on my Bio Page.

What does it mean if the your unborn baby only responds to your voice and touch and not the father's?

The unborn baby has become familiarized with your voice and touch. While, for 9 months, she is completely attached to you at all times, she sees her father for limited times. The hearing sense of a baby begins to develop 4 weeks into the pregnancy, as its' ears develop. She becomes accustomed to your voice. Before even being born, she will begin to recognize your voice. It used to be believed that babies were born deaf and blind. This, however, has been proved false. The only reason your baby is responding to you is because she is more familiar with your and your touch and voice. Once the baby is born, she will develop a sense of familiarity with both the mother and the father.

How do you deal with a home wrecker?

This is a question that you can only answer for yourself. There is a more important issue here and that is your relationship. The "homewrecker" may not have known that your spouse was married. If he or she did, then that person shares some of the blame. However, it is unlikely that your cheating spouse believed the homewrecker to be his or her "soulmate." As such, the cheating could have occurred with any number of people.

Do you still love your spouse? If so, then speak to your spouse and try to fix the marriage. This may mean speaking with a marriage counselor, a clergyman or other trusted person. You have to decide if this infidelity is unpardonable and requires a divorce. If not, then you may try to save the marriage.

If you have decided that the marriage is not salvagable, then speak to a divorce attorney right away. You need to know your legal rights. For all you know, the conversation with your divorce attorney may make you reconsider your original decision.

Whatever you do, violence is not the answer. Do not threaten or assault the "homewrecker." This will not help you at all. In fact, it can only harm you.

Answer

By your use of the term 'homewrecker' it is clear that you have not viewed this situation honestly. The only problem you can/should address in this situation is your spouse. Your spouse is the one who strayed. It is not the fault of the other person who is involved. They owe no duty to you. Only your spouse does. You need to ask why your spouse allowed the situation to develop in the first place, what is wrong in your marriage, can it be fixed, do you want to fix it and does your spouse want to fix it. The only person who can remove the other party involved is your spouse. You each need to decide on where you go from here.

What is the most important thing to tell your child?

Always study hard and do not make inappropriate friendships. Tell him to follow a healthy lifestyle, and the most important, never drink alcohol or try to smoke.

A bit more:

There really is no one most important thing to tell your child because raising a child involves teaching him or her many things. It's important to also teach your child the values that are so important to being a good person, such as honesty, loyalty, and responsibility. And teaching your child not to be racist, bigoted, prejudiced, and to not be judgemental of others is crucial. Those who are brought up with those negative qualities and beliefs are only being set up for failure and a life of difficulty, and are more likely to have anger issues when they are older.

Teaching your child the importance of never doing drugs is also important. Once they start down the road of drug abuse, it's a long, hard way back from using drugs, and many of them never find their way back from it. So it's best to teach them to never even start using drugs.

You should also teach your child that, while it's important to have and keep a job when they are grown, it's also important that they choose a field of work which they enjoy, and then to do their very best at it. Whether it's being a doctor, lawyer, mechanic, hairdresser, construction worker, store clerk, etc., there are no 'low' jobs, only people who perform their jobs lowly. And as long as they truly enjoy what they do, and take pride in their work, they will be much happier in the other areas of their life.

Their best role models are their parents, so teach them by example. If they see you living your life in the way you teach them to live theirs, they will be much more likely to learn the values and stick with them.
