Is interval training or sprint training best for losing weight?
For weight loss you're better off doing endurance training, and lots of it. Hours each week.
If you look at the amount of calories used, interval vs sprint training is pretty much the same thing.
Becoming a fitness model isn't just about "time", but also dedication and discipline. It requires carefully monitoring your diet, eating a "clean diet" without junk food, soda, and fast food, and pursuing a regular and demanding exercise and training schedule that will include weight and resistance training as well as regular cardio exercise. While it's easy to assume that fitness models (both male and female) are just "born that way", that's often not the case. While some people are born with certain physical traits that allow them to get a very lean, muscular and defined physique more quickly (and with less effort) than others, there are many successful fitness models that at some time in their life may have been overweight or not in peak condition. However, through diet and training, these individuals were able to transform their physiques into an image of fitness. In terms of how long it would take a person to "transform" their physique to look like a fitness model, this really depends on their current physical condition, body fat to lean muscle ratio and the amount of time and attention they are willing to devote to achieving their goals. It's not unusual for some individuals to radically transform their physique within 12 months of very focused training and disciplined eating. Even then, most fitness models still have areas they would like to improve, and maintaining that "fitness model look" requires ongoing discipline and dedication. The most important thing to understand is that having a fitness model physique (whether male or female) requires having a high lean tissue (muscle) to low body fat ratio. Adding muscle requires proper nutrition and regular eating. Many people assume that fitness models (especially female fitness models) get their body from not eating or calorie restriction. It's actually just the opposite. You cannot starve your way to a great, toned body. Also, getting a fitness model physique requires a lot of weight training -- and not just training with five pound dumbbells and performing 30 reps. Most fitness models train with heavy weights and keep their reps quite low. This is the case for both male and female fitness models.

The basic physical exam consists of the following plus or minus depending on what your doctor is looking for;
They'll check your blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, pupil response, sensation (nerves in hands, face feets etc.), power in your limbs, ability to move your joints, they'll listen to your heart and lungs, maybe feel for enlarged lymph nodes (I always do a basic check but others don't), take bloods [do a complete blood count (CBC), full blood count(FBC) in UK] looking for abnormalities in red blood cells and white blood cells, check bloods for kidney and liver functions and basic checks for infection and inflammation, check reflexes [very misunderstood tests], basic vision test, weight and height, calculate the Body Mass Index [not that useful these days but still routinely done [waist measurement is more diagnositc], do a body systems check [where they ask questions about each body system; i.e. do you have any problems walking up stairs, do you have any problems understanding instructions, do you have any problems with breathing [coughing in morning, coughing when lying down, spitting up blood or sputum], they'll look in your ears/up your nose, external check of body [such as genitals, breasts, soles of feets etc.] and then ask you a bunch of questions (probably start with this actually), take a urine sample also.

Is 24 hour fitness or bally total fitness better?
Bally's is better....i mean, the only problem is that they're not open 24 hours of the day, but the trainers are way better there. They have trainers of all body types to help you get the kind of results that you want, no matter what it is--the trainers aren't just clones that regurgitate stuff they learned in some class--they learned from experience. I've heard some stuff that 24 hour trainers have told their clients, and some of it is really surprising. But, if you like working out with a bunch of people who work out just because they can and hog machines even though they probably won't be back for another 2 months, then go to 24 hour.
