1 dl of olive oil

Directions

In a large saucepan over medium heat, saute onions, garlic and bay leaf in olive oil until soft. Add bacon, well washed and drained, and stir for about 5 to 10 minutes. Add sausage, tomato sauce and wine, stir, cover and simmer for about 5 minutes.

Add about 6 dl of water and simmer for about 30 more minutes. Make sure the bacon is soft

  2. When the bacon is almost cooked, add the fava bean, the coriander and enough water to cover the stew. Let it simmer.

  3. When the fava beans are cooked, the stew is ready to serve. Serve it decorated with the sausage and the bacon. You may serve it with a side garden salad.
