Okay. I have two older sisters, (So I know about girls) and one of my best friends is a girl who I REALLY REALLY like. And I'm afraid, too. But what I'm going to do, and what YOU should do, too, is I'm going to go up to her, tell her how much I like her, and if you really like the guy: say the thing that'll really make him love you: "I know you will NEVER find anyone who loves you more than I do. Not now, not in the future." And then he will really now you really like him.

Speaking from experience: Cry it out. Get that over with. Then look around you for something that you can expend your emotional energy on.
