My suggestion is you don't tell him your feelings right now, but say something like, "Hey, we've been friends a long time, what do you think about going out on a date like any other couple?" Say it with a smile on your face and don't back him into a corner. Make it sound more like a good idea, then trapping him into not hurting your feelings. This way, he'll either tell you he doesn't think it's such a good idea or he'll go for the idea and you'll have your answer. If you do go out on a date take it slow and easy and let nature takes it's course. If you tell him how you feel right now you might scare him off and make him so uncomfortable it may take away from a wonderful friendship. Good luck Marcy I disagree with the above answer. I think it would be too forward to say something like that to him because it can make him feel as if you've only been thinking about yourself and been in the friendship with the hope of dating him one day. I think instead you should see how intense your friendship is. If you guys are the total "bff" then you have to think about if it is worth it. I mean, if you guys break up...you wouldn't have just lost a boyfriend...you would have also lost your best friend which can be very hard to handle. If you think you can handle that and that the best thing to do is tell him, then make sure you are in a stable part of a relationship like making sure he's not dealing with something big and same for yourself. Once you figure out that everything is okay, then sit down with him one day and tell him how you feel, how long you've liked him, and how much he means to you. But make sure to include how this friendship you guys have also means a lot to you and that you have never let your feelings affect your advice, comments, actions, etc. for him (unless you have). Also make sure to tell him that you are going to give him time to think about it and whatever he decides is cool by you and that you are going to be there for him no matter what. Goodluck. :)

it depends on how you feel about your best friend. If you secretly like them back then you tell them the truth and how you feel but if you dont like them then i would tell them that you dont want it to be awkward but you dont like them that way and that you just want to remain as friends

I am a girl, my best friend is a boy...i wouldn't know if he was into me because i feel weird asking him if he does and i don't think he would tell me either! I love him to DEATH! I hang out with him all the time...my parents konw that he is my best friend! He is funny and sticks up for me no matter what is going on! But people come up to me like from school and say "are you two going out" one time he said we were but WE ARENT! i stick up for him too...like if a another boy is being meen i go up to him and say "WOOAHHH don't be meen to him!" and they back off! like i said i love him and my parents know that he does too! he comes to my house all the time and when we had a party at school we danced...isn't that what friends should do?? just one thing though..if your gonna be best friends with him you cant go off telling people your dating unless its true...he might get mad and just never talked to you, so be carefull.

Some interesting examples: if you hand something to a Japanese person, it is more polite in their culture for you to use both hands instead of just one; in Arab cultures, it is considered very rude to sit so that the bottoms of your feet point toward someone else; and in England, the "peace sign" (index and second fingers separated to make a V) made with the back of the hand pointed outwards toward another person is an extremely offensive gesture meaning "freak you!" The fact that you are interested in the first place means that you are probably already a tolerant person. Most people are uncomfortable about other cultures because they are unfamiliar with them and are made nervous by what they do not know.

How can she be a working housewife. If the women works outside the home just as the man does, then the house chores are split, not the sole responsibility of the women. Even if the didnt work outside the house, she should not only expect help from the man, the MAN should want to pitch in, too. Cant have it both ways.

To work in the home or outside the home should give you a feeling of accomplishment. Just because a housewife doesnt get a physical paycheck doesnt mean she isn't earning for the family, she is saving. She is a doctor, cleaner, accountant, cab driver, shopper, cook, etc, for all the other activities she does, now if you had to pay for all that wouldn't a family be broke.

To work outside the home is just as satisfying, your are earning your keep so to speak and making sure that all the necessities are provided, just as above, through monetary units, though.

It is very wrong to kill your own best friend. This is from any perspective that you may to look at it. As a matter of fact it is wrong to kill anyone even if they are not your friend.

If someone is your best friend, it is usually implied that there is not a sexual or physical attraction. It would seem inappropriate to strip your best friend because sexuality in a relationship changes it from friendship to something else that often leads to jealousy, hurt feelings and the end of the friendship. I would not recommend going there and risking a relationship with a best friend.

there is no easy painless way of doing this. Be honest but kind, tell her how you feel i.e that you are growing apart from her, not feeling the same as her, but don't blame her for the way you feell. Tel her that just because you feel this way doesn't mean that you don't think she is a very special person or very lovable. One thing that I would however suggest is that once you have made up your mind that you make it very clear that it is over leaving no room for her to misunderstand your intention to leave her as this leaves the door open to guilt and manipulation.. Don't contact her for a few weeks to see how she is doing however guilty or sorry you feel- she feels worse and there is nothing worse than pity when you have been dumped espeically off the dumper.

It really depends on what type of strange.....

If he is strange like when he talks to you and he does some un-smooth things like mumur and not relating to his speech, and doing hand movements when he talks and falling down, drooling that is all the signs that he is madly in love with you... It is just un-comfortable for him to talk to you.

The other type of strange is that he opens his eyes wide at you and just stares at you. This still could mean hes in love with you. Also, you should tell a parent if things start to turn out creepy. To make it less ocward if that sinario happens just say "There is this boy in my (math, Science wa=hatever)__________ class, and he justs stares really ocwardly at me. What do I do?? The only thing you can do is to move on. You can't force someone into feeling the same way about you that you feel about them. This person has been honest with you about how she feels, which is respectable. When you really care for someone and they reject you, it's often difficult to let go of the hope. Give yourself time to heal. Rejection can be a painful part of life.

You could just spend so much time with your bf that the friend feels left out and they slowly drift apart.

But here's my take on it having been in the lifestyle for over 15 years with my wife and living in a full time triad for the last 4 years with our girlfriend.

Polyamory is a great lifestyle IF you have the mentality for it. It is estimated that less than 12% of the popularion has tried it, even fewer than that are sucessful. It's exciting, can keep your life with your partner vibrant and fun, but it's not easy by any means. You have to be able to separate the act of sex and the emotion of love, understand the difference, and always communicate fully.

The cons of a poly relationship are much the same as in a more traditional relationship really. The common misconception is that adding another person only doubles your problems, adding two (as in couples swapping) tripples them. It's actually a LOT more complex. Each persons interaction with every other person adds potential, so while there are actually triple the potential for issues between three people, it's actually six times the potential with four people. Understanding all this allows for a person to be better prepared for things, but it still comes down to human nature.

The worst thing people can do it not to be totaly honest with their partner/s about what they want, what they like, and most of all what they don't want. Rules are essential, and they can never be optional. You can change them as you grow and learn, but never on the fly. People without rules are typicaly the 1st to have a relationship implode. Next to that the most common bad idea is to try adding to a relationship to spice it up, or save it from decay. Most times these are people that have too much invested in their relationship to throw it all away, but recognize decay when they see it. unfortunately you're eaither going to reviatilaze your passio for each other, or more likely you're going to find someone/something more exciting and acclerate that decay. People change, desire fades, you never know if the next person you meet will bring new light to your life or be what starts tearing it apart. Pretty much like any relationship, just in polyamory people tend to be better communicators and more honest with each other on average.
