What is meant by link virtualization?

One question that many people who are exploring virtualization and simplifying the network process ask time and time again is: "What is meant by link virtualization?" This may see mto be an easy to answer question; however, the answer is not quite that simple.

Link virtualization (along with node virtualization) is a component of network virtualization. Essentially, link virtualization allows the transportation of multiple virtual links along the path of one single physical link. This is often accomplished by ATM, Ethernet802, MPLS or 1q-however, the virtual link may at times be identified implicitly.

There are many reasons why this is a beneficial service for network operators. Mainly, link virtualization improves the link utilization across the network, makes scalability simple, creates resiliency and security and makes it much easier to take advantage of technology such as traffic segmentation, link aggregation and traffic prioritization.

Sure you can, just go to google.com and type in "Blue waffle" and click the "I'm feeling lucky button" and it takes you to a website filled with information and techniques about trolling-on-trolling topics. You can also find plenty of information to use towards trolling posts, some historical trolls, and even links to trolls that are currently on the internet.

Why has the meaning troll lost it's meaning people have resorted to saying the word troll away from keyboard as a prank when the original term of troll is for the internet only?

Language evolves, this is a fact that has to be dealt with.

'Trolling' has been in use as an offline term to describe deliberately provocative actions long before its use on the internet. 'Trolling for MiGs' for example in 1972, during the war in Vietnam.

How do you delete an address that shows up underneath the web address bar when you start typing stuff?

It cant be deleted!

Umm, well, the one address can't be deleted.

But I wanted to delete a website address, so I went on:

'Tools' - Can be found under address bar.

'Delete Browsing History' - At the top

'Delete History' - It should say 'List of websites you have visited'

Click on it, and in a few seconds, ALL YOUR PREVIOUSLY VISITED WEBSITES WILL BE DELETED. You can still get on to them, it's just that nothing will appear but I blank white space if you click the drop down arrow.

Please note: ALL THE WEBSITES THAT HAVE APPEARED ON YOUR DROP DOWN LIST WILL BE DELETED. ALL OF THEM. NOT JUST ONE.

........................................................................

that's how to clear the history. but you can delete a single address! its just a little tricky and involves using the registry editor, which if you do not know what your doing you can delete or change items that CANNOT or SHOULD NOT be changed and can effect your computer. so, do not stray from these steps.

go to RUN on your start menu and type 'regedit' (no quotes obviously)

then hit the + sign for HKEY_CURRENT_USER

then the + for Software

then the + for Microsoft

then the + for Internet Explorer

and last open the folder that's marked 'typedURLs'

then just click on what address you would like to delete and either press the delete key or go to file>delete. its really pretty simple, not a lot of people think to do this or even know about it and if your trying to hide sites your searching from someone just know there are always other ways to know where someone has been, like keystroke, or through the admin esp if its a network computer. but the combination of deleting the history and everything else the other answer said and this you should be OK if its just a home computer or something. but if its at work, just quit going to the sites you don't want them to know about and that's the only way you can ensure not getting caught.
