What is the best way to use my laptop and iphone when traveling?

Your options are buying wifi hotspot vouchers, buying a local sim card, or roaming. However, I recently heard about a MiFi device that allows you to make your own personal portable wifi hotspot, which is really convenient when you're travelling. You can connect up to 5 devices to it, use skype, etc. Pretty cool I used MiFiClub when I travelled to the UK.

then select properties > go to TCP IP V4 and V6 setting and give select obtain IP address automatically. then it will detect the new wifi network and if the wifi network are secured you will ask for the password to connect to it. by giving the password of the wifi network you can connect to your wireless network.

in all laptops you will find a wifi button please be aware to switch on your wifi button before you connect.

Which computer system is better pda laptop computer desktop computer and mobile phone and why?

There is none that is better then the other. All have their pros and cons and it really depends on what you want to do. Want to travel? Take a laptop Always on the go while at work? Take a smart phone Sitting at a desk all the time? Sucks for you, take a desktop I will say this, technology is changing and there is an up rise in tablet/laptops. Most look really good and have the potential to replace any normal desktop computer or laptop. Most of these new devices let you undock from the keyboard so you can read a book on the couch or watch a movie. The keyboard docks allow for a normal laptop for when you want to get down for business. Some even come with bigger docks to allow for multiple monitors and regular keyboard and mouse inputs. I think they are taking over.....maybe

Why is the function key on your laptop stuck?

One reason the Fn key may appear stuck is if you recently plugged a full-size keyboard into your laptop and pressed the NumLock key. This key activates the Fn key on the laptop. To return the Fn key to its original state, plug in the keyboard and disengage the NumLock key. Remove the keyboard and test out any of the Fn assigned keys. They should return to normal working status. If it doesn't however, you may require further troubleshooting.

You can find out if its the numlock by holding the fn key to type normally. if it types normally then and oposite when released then that's the problem. you can turn it off by holding the fn key and presing either the blue "num <arrow down>" or the blue numlock key. (both are numlock just look different on some laptops.

What if your computer says runs on Vista?

Vista is just a version of Windows; the version after Windows XP and before Windows 7. If a machine is Vista-ready or Vista-compatible, it just means that the hardware and available drivers are compatible with Windows Vista. You might be able to run that PC on Windows 7 or 8, but it depends, and you would have to check with the manufacturer to find out what all it is compatible with.

Could you be more specific about what you mean by "flash off" by re-asking the question.

You can change the screensaver and power saving settings by right-clicking the desktop and choosing "Personalise" from the list that appears.

If that isn't the issue, please try and provide more information in a new question. There are an estimated 900,000 things that could "go wrong" with laptops and computers.

Useful information is:
