I would highly doubt it at the moment. Though at some stage there will be. The number off books, only gets higher every year. Once a book has being written it cant be unwritten. Whereas people die every year. And some authors (especially of computer books) seem to produce 2 or 3 new books every year. Then you have books that never get published. There are 3 people in my own family who have written books which they wont publish. And now aswell we have ebooks. More than ever people are writing ebooks and then distributing them online - while never once considering themselves to be authors.

LIteracy is the soley the foundation of education. The ability to read and write is not enough. Literacy rather, is the ability to comprehend material either by reading writting or any scripture. Around the world a literate person changes by culture. Some cultures use symbols, and in acient times they drew pictures. We cannot say that the Mayan culture was not literate because to them, their pictres are their languag and hey have the ability to understand the information and gain knowledge.

Some very rural areas have to lump some grades in together, and the teachrs are spread pretty thin. Also , many rural kids have farm chores and things to do that take away from their study time. It takes a really determined kid to further his or her own education.
