Why can't you look some people in the eye?
== == Sometimes it's because the person is shy and, as they say, "The eyes are the windows of the soul." It unnerves some people to look others in the eye perhaps because they are a private person and afraid the other person will pick up sadness, depression, etc. Another reason could be that the person who can't look someone in the eye is feeling guilty about something.

Kate Morgan is the supposed real identity of the Beautiful Stranger of the Hotel Del Coronado, who died there under mysterious circumstances in December 1892.
The facts are that she appears to have committed suicide on steps leading down to the water overlooking Coronado beach in the middle of the night. This is what was believed in 1892 and what has been repeated ever since.
There has been some indication that the young woman might have been murdered. While the evidence is preliminary, the facts fit together with known history of the time. Unfortunately this cannot be conclusively proven. But we do now know the identity of the Beautiful Stranger who died at the Hotel Del Coronado that night.
Some people have mistakenly identified the Beautiful Stranger as Kate Morgan of Iowa. However more recent research in 2006 thorugh 2009 suggests that this identification is in error. Kate Morgan appears to have gone to San Francisco in 1892. She probably died there in the 1906 earthquake and fire.

Do Western Fence Swift lizards prey on their young?
Most lizards tend to eat smaller lizards, even their own species and young. This is especially true with lizards in captivity. They will go after anything moving that will fit in their mouth. The exceptions to this are remote, such as a mother croc protecting its young until they go off on their own - though other crocs will not hesitate to snatch them up.
