Answer2: A narcissist has more love for themselves than anyone else anyway, so what makes you think you can win them back once they have left. Please move on, you deserve better than a narcissist anyway.

It depends on the tradition, but Celtic marriage apparently was for "one year only" in many places. Therefore, it was necessary to renew the vows or the couple would be considered to be "divorced". Quite often, this was done as part of the larger Lugnasad celebrations in August, when new couples would get married and others would just join in the celebrations, thus renewing the marriage.

In contemporary Druidry this renewal can take place publicly (with some sort of party or celebration, as mentioned) or in private, doing something simple and meaningful for the people involved.

In my opinion, I think this should happen, in some form or another:

Purchase a ring that would appeal to the man, just as the man would buy a ring to appeal to a woman, and show him that you care and want to be with him in marriage (in your own way). Show him the ring and ask him if he'll marry you.

Dropping to one knee would be to show the seriousness of the question and to make yourself vulnerable to the other, as a man would do for a woman.

Being a man myself, I think if he wanted to marry you on a serious level, he would look past this minor detail (in my opinion).

With love, comes respect. You cant possibly love somebody and continue to disrespect them. Its possible the man feels he can eat his cake and have it.! Any cheating man or woman is extremely disrespectful. No woman should subject herself to any kind of abuse..verbal, emotional or physical. Being submissive in a marriage does not equal to being a doormat!. Any woman in this situation MUST get help fast, you may have lost your self confidence, self esteem and value in this process and literally assume its ok or mormal to be treated this way..its not...get help fast from trusted relatives, friends, counselors or a religious leader. If the man thinks you cant live without him, he would continue to disrespect you. You need to acquire some boldness and refuse to be a doormat. Its his choice to be irresponsible, not yours..no matter what he says. Move away from him, so you can think things through. Pray for him, if you're a believer. Never be tempted to revenge or think cheating on him too will make you feel better, it will only make you feel worse. Forgiving somebody does not mean you have to continue to take their crap. You should not take responsibility for anybody's foolishness. Take time out, to rediscover yourself. If he's always cheating, and regularly abusive..then he is not your husband...he's a dog. You deserve better. GET HELP!

No never. A license for marriage doesn't expire. You could get a divorce, but then you would be only separated in man's eyes not God's eyes. If you get married, plan to live with that man/woman your whole life because if you divorce that one and marry another, you are committing the sin of adultery in God's eyes.

Even in Jesus' day, there were divorces, and they were accepted by the church then. The Roman Catholic church requires a "tribunal" [like a court] to absolve you of your prior marriage so that you can re-marry another without being charged with adultery. A Muslim man can marry a Muslim. Christian, or Jewish woman (As Muslims believe in the holy books of Torah and the Bible and they believe in Prophets Moses and Jesus and all other God prophets). However, a Christian or Jewish man can't; per Islam religion; marry a Muslim woman (As Christians and Jews do not believe in neither the Quran nor in Prophet Muhammad).

In Islam practice, the husband prime responsibility is to cover the family expenses even if his wife works and even if she is earning more money than the husband. So, it is logic if husband is Muslim to accept for his Christian or Jewish wife to practice her ritual worships, social activities, and clothing according to her Christian or Jewish religion. However, if the husband is Christian or Jewish he may not accept his Muslim wife to practice her ritual worships, social activities, and clothing according to her Islam religion.

That is why a Muslim man can marry a Christian or Jewish girl/woman while a Muslim girl can not marry a Christian or Jewish man.

Some others have the view point that any person of any faith can marry anyone they want and that love conquers all, even religion. However, this is true only if you are not committed to a religion with God or not believing in God at all. If you are committed with God through any religion, what so ever, you have to fulfill this commitment. This is in analogy to one committed with an employer through a work contract (despite the difference between commitment in contract with God, the Creator, and commitment in contract with an employer, creature). Does falling in love with someone entitle you not to go for work or not to fulfill your work commitment? The same answer applies to your commitment with God when you fall in love and thinking of marriage. On the other hand, of course you have full right and full choice to select either to fulfill religion commitment or to abandon the religion you committed to and throw it behind. However, choice is responsibility. You should be aware that your choice defines the consequences that you get in front of God on the Resurrection Day. Either one goes to God Paradise or one be Pushed in Hell fire.

• If the brother and his wife's divorce is finalized she is free to marry anyone even her spouse's brother. However, it would not be wise to do so as children come first and the child would be confused. It is also a high risk the two brothers may part company because of hard feelings.
