Most people that get caught in a lie with usually turn around and blame the other person. It will drive a person crazy! The main point is ... they lied! I have actually found that many men lie, and often about silly things. They just hate it when you do catch them at it. Some women can lie as well, but let's face it ... some women can lie better! You have two choices ... if he lied about something serious, then you have to sit down and discuss it with him. If he's in denial then it's time you read him the riot act and let him know you aren't putting up with this behavior and he can blame you all he wants, but it doesn't change the point he lied. If he isn't willing to work with you in improving himself and getting along better, then you have to decide if you want to leave him. It's a hard choice, but in all honesty, one I would take. Who wants to live with a person who tells one bad lie that hurts you deeply. The trust is gone and I doubt most people can ever get it back. Good luck Marcy

IMHO, I think it has something to do with the fact that the so-called "hot women" notice how much more successful the nerds are than the "jocks" and "preps" are in their "after high school" lives. Some "nerds" actually become attractive appearance-wise after they become successful in their careers.

If a man is totally into you and the people who you're close to don't like him, it's a big red flag. Ask them what it is that bothers them about the man and really give it some thought.

You've been in an abusive relationship before and abusive men are very good at picking out wounded &/or vulnerable women. If you have any inkling that some of these things are going on, the seduction may make it really difficult for you to give them much credibility when you feel so good when you're with him, but beware. An important thing to check is whether or not he takes any responsibility for past or current problems in relationships or at work...or does he blame others? If he doesn't own up to his errors, mistakes and anger with others, he won't with you either.

I hope none of these things apply to the guy you're interested in, but if they do, HE WON'T STAY THE NICE GUY YOU'RE LOOKING FOR!

You should tell him that what he is doing badly and discuss possible things that you do that he may or may not like. Why is he refusing to change? Marriage is about compromise, not making someone change to benefit one person. If he is refusing to do what you want because he is uncomfortable with that action then you two should discuss the desired element missing.

I know that some men may not have been with a lot of people and therefore they may think what they are doing is exactly what the partner wants. without being vocal while still being respectful, change can not occur.
