Mr Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rahman son of Mian Shuja-ur-Rahman was born on September 17, 1967 in Lahore. He obtained the degree of MPA in 1993 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. A businessman, who served as Councillor, MCL during 1998-99, as Chairman, Taxation Committee, MCL during 1999 and as Town Naib Nazim, Ravi Town, City District Government, Lahore during 2001-02. He served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07 and has returned to the Punjab Assembly for the second consecutive term having won the bye-election un-opposed and is presently serving as Minister for Excise and Taxation. His father served as Lord Mayor of Lahore during 1979-87 and as Councillor, MCL for more than 26 years.

Dibrugarh-Kanyakumari VIVEK EXPRESS is currently the longest route train in Indian subcontinent. The arts and crafts of Pakistan vary by region. Each of the provinces and affiliated territories have regional crafts unique to them. Here are a few regions/cities with their distinctive crafts: 1. NWFP: Various regions in NWFP produce marble chess sets, decorative goblets and tea sets. 10. Chiniot: The city is fabled for its wood-work. The craftsmanship is exquisite. 11. Gujrat: The hub of fine furniture. The thriving industry has attracted many fine woodworkers and wood carvers from all over the country. 12. Various: Artisans producing fine and folk arts can be found all over the country. With a growing middle-class, the patronage of arts is on the rise. · Pheran is a popular garment make of pur wool worn by men, women and children during the hars Winter. Womenfolk generally wear on with embroidery work. Embroidered Pherans are popular among tourists.

· Another famous creation of Kashmir is the portable brazier, Kangri a fire pot which is usually held under the Pherans. Kangris are available as decoration pieces also.

· Kahwa a sweet herbal drink flavoured by saffron and almonds is an all season household drink served with a crispy 'Sheermal' 'Kulcha' or a 'Bakerkhani'.

· Kahwa is preferrede as a welcome drink on most accasions. Kahwa and Kashmiri salt tea is served in 'samawar' a large sized copped kettle having a tube in the middle for burning charcoal. No fuction is complete in the absence of Samawar.

· Kashmir has some of the best bakeries and confectioneryies in the country. In Srinagar the are modern bakeries righ from Dalgate to Resideny Road and Lal Chowk.
