Yes. There are Ramadan celebrations all over Turkey, even along the Western seaboard where people are traditionally more liberal and may be less inclined to fast.

Unlike more religious countries, though, it is socially acceptable not to fast for Ramadan and there are numerous restaurants that will stay open during the day without issue.

Because this is your chance to start a new and better life. The point of Ramadan is to feel like poor people. People starve for days and years. Your only starving for a couple of hours. Do something useful like reading quran. A Muslim should try to finish the quran at least 3 times in Ramadan. Its better than watching movies. But if you wanna watch movies make sure it doesnt have any music, bad scenes, and no cussing.

1. The Holy Qur'an was first revealed in the month of Ramadan ("The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur'an - Chapter 2 verses 185"). The first verses to be revealed was "Read" (Chapter 96 verses 1) on the 17th of Ramadan, 13 years before the Migration of the Prophet to Medina Corresponding to July 610 C.E.

6. The Great Battle of Badr took place on Friday, 17th of Ramadan 2 A.H., in which the Muslims were victorious over th polytheists of Makkah.
7. The Conquest of Makkah in 8 A.H.
8. The acceptance of Islam by the Thaqif delegation in 9 A.H.
9. The assassination of the Commander of the Believers Ali Bin Abi Talib (May Allah be pleased with him) in the city of Al Kuffa in Iraq in 40 A.H.
10. The death of Aisa Bint Abu Bakr (wife of the Prophet and mother of the believers) in 58 A.H.
11. The Battle of Pontiers (Martyrs Field) in the plains of France between the Muslim army led by Abdulrahman al Ghafiqi (May Allah be pleased with him) and the Frankish army led by Charles Martel. In this battle many Muslim soldiers were Matyred. This took place in 114 A.H.
12. The Battle of Ain Jalut in 658 A.H. in which the Muslim army led by Syed Qutuz (May Allah show mercy to his soul) defeated the Mongol army. This was a decisive victory for the Muslim.

The Fiqh Council of North America and the European Council for Fatwa and Research, after careful examination of the Shari'i sources and opinions of classical and modern scholars have concluded that it is permissible according to Shari'ah to use scientific calculations for determining the Islamic lunar months. The criteria adopted by the two Councils are as follows:

* The new moon (i.e. time of conjunction) is when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun closest to the Sun-Earth line. This time of conjunction is precisely predictable by astronomical calculation. The conjunction can happen at any time during the day or night. This precision is one manifestation of the laws that Allah created in the universe. In the Qur'an we read "The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed" [Al-Rahman; 55:4]. The Qur'anic Arabic term for computation in this verse is "Husbaan" which is an intensified form of computation or calculation meaning very precise calculation. * The new Islamic lunar month begins after the moment of conjunction [or at the beginning of separation] on condition that the moon sets on that evening anytime after sunset. * While the astronomical moon occurs in the whole world at the same moment, the Islamic day begins after sunset, and this varies from one location to the other. Therefore, a "conventional point of reference" must be chosen for sunset and moonset. Of various possible options, especially for Muslims residing in Europe and the Americas, Makkah al-Mukarramah was chosen by the two Fiqh councils.

Muslims fast in Ramadan for a month.

It's not exactly a month, it's about 30 days . Depending upon the sighting of the moon. If the moon of the new month occurs then it is eid and if it doesn't then the other day will be a fast too.

It could be anytime before dawn. It is recommended to be as late as possible but, of course, before dawn.

Ramadan if a day of fun and games. Kids play and have fun so they can forget about that they are fasting. Ramadan is very important to Muslim's.

If you're fasting, then why do you need to go on a picnic? It's not haram as long as you're not doing anything haram. But if you go outside to take your children or your friends to play outside that's fine.

I can't say any thing,I think she don't take fast because she is not respect the other aspect of Islam,such as Hejab and she is always works anti-ethical of Islam in her series and private live.Ok I want from kindly Allah to do her on right path
