What is the highest possible score on the PSAT?
2400. 800 on the math section, 800 on the writing section, and 800 on the reading section.
A 2400 does not mean that you answered every single question on the entire test correctly, but rather almost all correctly. Each test and each section differentiates on what is considered an "800". Some tests allow one, two, and sometimes three questions to be incorrect, besides this College Board sometimes throws out certain questions.
Anything above 1600 is considered good, since a very few can even reach up to 2000.
This is comparable to a 36 on the ACT.
How can you check your answers on the math section of SAT?
If you have time left over for that section, you can go back and check answers for that section only. You cannot skip ahead or go back to a previous section.

Why is it important to test predictions?
What distinguishes science from irrational belief is that scientific theories must be falsifiable. Falsifiability requires testing predictions which are made using scientific theory. An ideal time to take the SAT would be during your junior and senior years of high school. You may take the SAT before then, but it is most crucial for your college preparation to take it during your last two years of high school.

Some colleges and all community colleges do not require SAT nor ACT. Some will require ACT but not SAT. If you don't have these test scores, best bet is to attend your local community college for two years. You have to make sure to carefully choose classes that will apply toward your major. You will also be very cautious those classes will be accepted to 4yr. university/college of your choice to transfer to. Some are very picky.
Once you have met the requirement as a transfer student, you will NOT need ACT nor SAT.

Everyone can take the SAT's over. The potential school may want to see all of your SAT scores, but if the first scores were very poor the first time it could be helpful. However, in our state, once a student has successfully completed collegecourses, that matters more than standardized tests. Keep in mind standardized test are designed to measure success in college, so if you are succeeding in college, that is what matters. A community/junior college may be an option you want to look at if it other colleges are not accepting you. Hope that helps
For me, when I transferred the only thing they were interested in was my grades at my last school. However there may be state or school placement tests that you can be exempt from by improving your SAT score. What matters most is your transcript.
The SAT and ACT are college admissions tests that are given to high school students. If you are applying to another college, they will not be interested in seeing an improved SAT or ACT score. Their concern will be with your college courses and the grades you received in each. They may also want to see some teacher recommendations from colleges and know why you are interested in attending their school.
