With the ignition switch in the off position, hold in the hold in the trip odometer. Now turn on your key and you will see a series of zeros begin to appear. Once that stops, your maintenance light will be reset.

Remove the plastic cover over the switch at the clutch pedal. The CRX switch can be unscrewed and replaced by disconnecting the wires and twisting the switch out.

its not impossible, but its not easy either. I did one 2 years ago and I just had another go on me. I am going to take it to an auto glass repair shop once I buy the regulator on line. They are a lot cheaper than repair shops. It took me few hours even with the on line directions, and I am pretty handy. You have to work in a tight space and its a pain. if you can get the glass shop to put it in for less than $100, its money well spent.

It is located just to the right of the interior fuse box, behind the kick panel, to the left of the emergency brake.

Someone can probably explain this better than I can, but it means "Manual". Your car is probably tiptronic which means it's automatic but you can put it in "m" and should be able to shift with the center console shifter or you might have paddle shifters on your steering wheel (probably not though).

Either way, you can shift up or down by using no clutch. It's really fun. Try it out one day when you're not on the freeway or in traffic by lots of people. ;)

The brake pedal shifter release switch is disengaged. You will need to go under the driver kick panel area and manually press the switch (look to see if the switch wire harness is loose)

If ur bottom radiator hase is COLD after the car has warmed up or normal driving temp then it is stuck closed and needs to be placed. They should both be HOT and at or near the same temp.

Set the odometer to TRIP A. Turn the key off. Press and hold the ODO button. Turn the key on. Continue holding the button while the light goes through a series of flashes. When it stops flashing, turn the key off and release the button.

Turn the key back on to make sure it "took".

you have to have acura dealer re program the new key. sucks but i guess its for your protection. you will need registration and i.d.

There are pages and pages and items that can cause a check engine light. You need to have it checked for codes with a scan tool. After repair light can be shut off with scan tool.

In the trunk ,(under the carpet there is a plate that comes off and that gives you access to the relay )

I have a 98 3.5 rl and the manual says to use gas with an octane rating of at least 91.

It means you have a fault somewhere - Honda's and Acura's are notorious for this problem, and sometimes all it takes to fix it is having the seat belt catch replaced (Seat belt clasps are also wired to the SRS system) Ask the advice of the Honda/Acura Dealer.

Ask your Acura dealer if they can fix it under an extended warranty. The first time this light came on, I did not have to pay anything. It turned out to be a seat belt catch problem. The next time it came on two years later, they wanted $129 just to look at it, so I drive with it on.
