its not impossible, but its not easy either. I did one 2 years ago and I just had another go on me. I am going to take it to an auto glass repair shop once I buy the regulator on line. They are a lot cheaper than repair shops. It took me few hours even with the on line directions, and I am pretty handy. You have to work in a tight space and its a pain. if you can get the glass shop to put it in for less than $100, its money well spent.

Either way, you can shift up or down by using no clutch. It's really fun. Try it out one day when you're not on the freeway or in traffic by lots of people. ;)
