Open the glovebox. There should be two pins. if you press them in the glove box will open more (best to empty glovebox). There should be a 12" door, with some clips. Press the clips, and you'll find the cabin air filter. Could possibly be a bar in front of it. Those take about 45 minutes to do, just a couple bolts.

yes you can. I have a silver 2004 tl. I ride 20" rims all day. I had to add spring helpers on the back to keep the car from scrubbing OR I could have used a smaller tire. My tire size is 245/35/20.

i just went to the acura dealer today to have my radio reset from the error code displayed after my radio was disconnected from the power. they looked inside the glove box on the side and found the five digit code that must be entered to reset the radio. otherwise you must remove the radio and look on the back for the serial number and then your acura dealer can find the five digit code in the computer system. (this was going to cost me $100 an hour for the acura labor charge!!) check your glove box.

At the bottom of the radiator, passenger side. You will have to remove some plastic panels to access it.

This starter can be changed without disassembling the top of the engine on the 2.5 with automatic transmission. You will need a 10mm, 14 mm, 17mm, and a 9mm wrench. First with any electrical repair disconnect the battery at the negative terminal. The starter is on the driver's side close to the firewall below the intake manifold. Remove the transmission dip stick so you don't ruin it, then look and study the starter itself. You will notice the starter drive housing with a top and bottom bolt. The top bolt is a 14mm and the bottom a 17mm, loosen both a half turn. Remove the top 14mm bolt first, then the bottom 17mm, this will allow you to pull the starter out of the bell housing. With some angling and no brackets holding the back of the starter you should be able to pull it out enough to disconnect the positive wire and 9mm nut from the soleniod. Disconnect the starter ignition small wire by pulling it off it's connector. Now just pull it out of the engine and fender void and you've got it, saving about a hundred and fifty dollars of labor. Take it to the parts house and match it up with a well made remanufactured or new starter. Reverse the proceedure, hook up the battery and smile. Now take someone you love to dinner or buy yourself a HUNDRED DOLLAR GIFT and you still saved fifty dollars. God Bless

Supposedly, Cadillac has been using it for a while in their shocks. They can use electromagnets to control how stiff the suspension is. Pretty cool!

The 2002 Acura TL has a 5-speed shiftable automatic.

All you have to do is turn the key in the ignition to "power on" (without starting the car) while holding the "reset" and "select" buttons on the instrument panel. Hold for several seconds. the next time you start the car, the maintenance require light will be gone.

It's not as easy as it should be. This is how I did it. Pop the trunk lid. You will see one or more black knobs in the area of the tail light assembly holding the interior surface. Unscrew the knob closest to the tail light assembly. You will see also a plastic strip running along the latch sill. It is held in place by four plastic screws. These work like anchor screws for drywall. First unscrew the screw and then pop out the screw housing. I removed all four. You might get by by removing the two closest to the tail light.

Pull the interior wall away from the tail light assembly. There will not be a lot of room and you want to pull the interior away just enough to get your hand behind it. Locate the blown bulb/s and twist the bulb holder. It will come free with the bulb. The bulbs are friction fitted, just pull out of the fixture.

Assembly is the reverse of this.

open your hood. above the head lite you will see an "L" shaped a couple inches long and about 1/4" in diameter. unlatch it and slide it out of the way. this will release the headlite housing. from there you will be able to reach the backside of any bulb in the housing. its as simple as twisting out the socket/wire harness and then replacing the broken bulb. if course installation is the reverse of removal.

Check the following...............

1. Coolant level.

2. Thermostat.

3. A/C - Heater inside door operations.

4. Lastly check the radiator flow.

If your radio is locked and you DONT know the passcode then you need to call Acura....but if you do know the password...then you should enter it

Every 90k miles just like a timing belt. You can go over but it will stretch and jump teethes screwing up your timing.
