if by "belt or chain" you're trying to ask if they have a timing belt or timing chain, the answer is timing belt

It's highly recommended to use Premium Gasoline for the tl's...If premium is not available u can use Mid-Grade(89)

I've seen dealers fill up new cars with 87 octane to save $0.30/gal. My 1996 TL runs just fine on mid-grade but I only use premium in my 2008

yes...i have 20x8.5's on my 02' RL with 225 or 235/35/20 tires. I had to roll my rear fenders and put some cheap spring spacers on the rear but it works great. I probably wouldn't have had to roll the fenders if they werent 8.5" wide. hope this helps

If you have the serial number you can look up the code or have someone look it up for you. If you do not know the serial number then you will have to take out your radio as the number is on the back of the radio.

Maybe you meant TCS = Traction Control System

It can mean a lot of different things. Go to an autozone and have them scan your car's computer (they do it for free) so you can get the codes and them Google them or ask here again.

It's basic service which both oil and filter are changed, along with tire rotation and checking of fluid levels and a few other items checked. Around $135-150 at local Honda/Acura dealer.

Use exactly what Acura recommends and nothing else. If it does not say use premium unleaded on the fuel door and in the owners manual then use regular. The use of premium is a total waste of money if that is not what Acura recommends.

YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE DOOR PANEL OFF AND THEM REMOVE THE SPEAKERS

You don't need to cut the wires at all, I just got mine installed in 5 minutes with the adapter speaker plug, you can get them from Amazon or eBay for 16 bucks. You save a lot of time and you don't mess up the wire system of your car with the black tape and stuff.

3 turn the key to on position, holding the button in but do not start the car

4 wait a (few seconds) until the maintenance req'd light goes off

5 start the car keeping the button depress

6 release the button after the car is started

You CAN'T!! It's a safety issue and it cannot be done. You can go to the dealership and bring a cardboard cutter and cut a seatbelt fastener off and put it in your 2009 TL and trick the car into thinking that you have your seatbelt on. I DON'T recommend this but just answering your question.

Probable cause is a warped front disk brake rotor. The rotor can be "turned" to eliminate vibs if not too worn.

Pull out the insert in the change bin and on the bottom of it is the code for the radio. Below that is the connection to hook up the car to a computer

"REPAIR" the TIMING BELT? or DID YOU MEAN "REPLACE"? I'll presume you meant "REPLACE" (which is recommended at and every 105,000 miles) (NOTE* some people under harsh driving conditions *extremely high and/or low temps., aggressive start and stop driving etc. may do it every 60K miles to be safe but probably 98% of drivers are fine with the 105K mile reccomendation) Bottom line 1st; then details: The total cost to Replace your timing belt and NOTHING ELSE (*BAD IDEA SEE BELOW) should be about $40.00 for an OEM Timing Belt and probably at least 4+ Hours Labor so timing belt replacement alone with labor should run you about $300 **NOW this is a very Labor intensive Job and this TL has an 'interference engine' (let the mechanic worry about that) and the belt also drives your *WATER PUMP **WHICH SHOULD ABSOLUTELY BE REPLACED ALSO WHEN THE TIMING BELT IS. (**as well as obviously having the Honda Genuine Type 2 COOLANT -Flushed and replaced) It takes so much to get in there in the 1st place it is foolish not to have them do the Water Pump also! Why? Because those wear out too, and if your water pump goes so goes your car! No coolant if your old pump fails, shortly after guess what *NO More ENGINE!! Or at least many $thousands to rebuild or replace. An Oem water pump should run you a little over $100.00 OTHER SUGGESTIONS: -Replace the drive belts too: (1.Serpentine Belt (oem about $20 and 2. Power steering Belt (oem about $15) This is not very (PARTS OR LABOR) expensive relatively speaking and same concept as the water pump above. -There are 2 main oil seals in your enging 1. Rear MAIN Seal (*FORGET ABOUT THAT ONE IT IS ON THE TRANNY SIDE AND NOT EASILY ACCESSIBLE) *BUT 2. THE Front MAIN Seal is accessible when doing the timing belt and is a good safety measure cause if you ever have engine oil leak in the future odds are it will be from one of these 2 seals which can eventually wear over time like everyting else. (OEM Front main Seal about $8.00) SOME PEOPLE GO FURTHER, but unless something else wrong is specifically pointed out to you, or your mechanic feels strongly about something else in the process and explains and conveys that conviction to you (i.e bad thermostat, timing belt tensioner?, bearings in the pulleys? worn radiator cap, soft or brittle hoses/leaks etc. or ???? etc. this should do it!) Total cost for all of the recommended above at a reasonable mechanic: (PARTS OEM about $225 and Labor about $400-425 TOTAL for all that should be done an Most if not all would consider *NECESSARY along with the timing belt = $about $625-$650 TOTAL FOR ALL PARTS BELTS FLUIDS AND LABOR. *BEST OF LUCK AND LET ME KNOW HOW IT TURNS OUR OR IF ANYONE HAS FURTHER INPUT HERE?
