Where is the transmission filter on the 2002 acura 3.2 TL type-S car?

I can't say for certain about an Acura, because I've never had one, but usually they are inside the transmission. You have to pull off the bottom plate, usually called the transmission oil pan. Be ready for it to dribble out all of your transmission fluid. The filter should then be easily accesible from there.

=======

The 2002 Acura TL automatic transmission DOES NOT HAVE a filter! Regular maintenance - completely draining and replacing the automatic transmission fluid at prescribed intervals - is all that needs to be done. Make sure to do this!!! Because - and I repeat - the 2002 Acura TL automatic transmission DOES NOT HAVE a filter.

It Does have a filter, it is below the Air Filter housing, it's a small black Metal filter.

There is a plate that covers it or a good part of it.

Looks like a small motorcycle oil filter.

How do you change cabin air filter on 2004 Acura TL?

This filter is behind the glove compartment. The entire glove door/box structure has to come off. Once it is off, the filter mount should be visible.

The dealership charges about 200USD to 400USD for the job. It took me no more than an hour for my first attempt. Any subsequent attempts should be easier.

Full instructions for an Acura RL can be found here and they are almost identical compared to my 2004 TL.

: For the 2007 Acura TL, all you need to in order to change the dust and poller filter (also known as cabin air filter) is to remove two plastic clips (next to the trunk on/off switch) in the glove box. In order to remove them, push the inner hole. : Once those clips are removed, you have to pull the whole glove box assembly out. It could be hard since it's connected with a lot of clips. Once you remove it, you might have to unplug a couple of wires and you should see the front of the filter's cover.

Acura timing belt hydraulic tensioner how to reset or hold it while replacing the belt?

Since Acura tensioners are not electronic they rarely go bad before a couple hundred thousand miles and can easily be reset. Once removed from engine place tensioner in jaws of workbench vise with small hole facing up towards you. Now carefully compress piston back into housing - be careful not damage piston. Now place Acura OEM pin or a drill bit, small long nail or similar item into hole to lock compressed piston in place. Once tensioner is bolted back onto engine and rollers and belt have been properly installed with all timing marks aligned, pull retaining pin from tensioner to release piston. Very Important Timing belt should be installed from TDC of front cam pulley in clockwise direction so that all the slack of timing belt is on left underside of engine, right in front on tensioner, so that when the pin is pulled the slack will be dawn up without disturbing timing alignment on cams or crank. Check and double check their positions before reassembling anything else. Good Luck
