What is a bottle of bundaberg black vat 100 1985 worth?
That is an excellent question!
I am aware that a work based auction sold a similar bottle for $2000.00 - July 2009.
I have also seen the item for $600 commencing price on ebay, and I have seen it sold on an alternative auction site for $250.50, so the worth of the item is very much in the buyer's wilingness to pay.
Sorry, not overly helpful, but an answer none the less.
Regards
Peter

Red, red wine
Go to my head
Make me forget that i
Still need her so
Red, red wine
It`s up to you
All I can do, i`ve done
But mem`ries won`t go
No, mem`ries won`t go
I`d have thought
That with time
Thoughts of her
Would leave my head
I was wrong
And I find
Just one thing makes me forget
Red, red wine
Stay close to me
Don`t let me be alone
It`s tearin` apart
My blue, blue heart

If you stop drinking alcohol how long does it take to get out of body?
A healthy liver will metabolize about 0.6 ounces of pure alcohol per hour, the amount in one standard drink (one 12-oz. American beer, 5 ounces of wine, or one shot of 80 proof). It depends on how much alcohol was in the drinks that you drank, how many of them, and over what period of time. Figure an hour per drink and a couple of hours more to be safe, and you'll be in the neighborhood -- unless you were knocking back doubles or mixed drinks with more than one shot.
How does a wine opener differ from a wine corkscrew?
The can opener is a sharp wedge. It has a sharp point or blade that is forced into and through the metal of the top of a can. In the manual kind, a lever (handle) is attached, and we can move the lever to pierce the can. We then push the lever back, move the wedge, and apply pressure again. In electric or mechanical can openers, we start with lever action to pierce the can. Then a moving drive forces the opener along the edge of the can and the wheel cuts the metal. A motor applies torque to the drive, or we apply torque with the hand to turn the drive and force the cutter along the rim of the can. The cutter is a moving wedge forced through the metal to split it apart.

Absolutely everything we ingest (except cellulose) gets broken down by enzymes in our guts. Alcohol is an exception. It is absorbed in the intestine, where it then makes its way to the liver. Here, the body uses the enzyme ethanol dehydrogenase to turn the ethanol to ethanal. This goes on to be concerted into useful substances.
Food eaten prior/during drinking alcohol merely slows down the rate at which the alcohol gets absorbed as the pumps that absorb the products of digestion from our diet may be more selective in taking up useful molecules such as glucose.

The Irish
Evidence shows that thousands of years ago, beer was spread throughout the Celtic nations by Irish clans. Is there any alcohol in alcohol free beer?
Very small amounts, similar to the levels incbread or fruit juices. Alcohol free beer is made by removing the alcohol from conventional beer by vacuum evaporation. This simple process relies on the fact that acohol boils at a lot lower temperature than water. Bringing the temperature of the beer up to about 80 degrees celsius at the end of brewing evaporates the alcohol whilst retaining all the flavor of the beer. To remove every trace would be too time-consuming and expensive.

Why don't Mormons drink alcohol?
Buddhism is about gaining clarity and understanding. Alcohol is about losing it. When we becomes Buddhists, we undertake to live according to a set of precepts, one of which is that we should not use alcohol or other drugs in ways that cloud the mind.
This does not prohibit alcohol use, but unless one is drinking to cloud the mind -- one of the first things that happens when we drink -- there really isn't much point in it. Thus, most committed Buddhists don't bother.
