My husband has for years had trouble staying awake after he eats. I was wishing someone has an answer to what he could do about it. It puts him asleep for about 1 or more hours after he eats. They say it is to many carbs. but it doesnt matter what he eats. So he has to eat one meal a day and gets very hungry during the day too. What can i do for this. Thanks for helping.

Sulfinyl is a component of Prilosec. I have a sulfa allergy and unwittingly took a Prilosec. I had swelling in the mouth, lips, larnyx and bottom. So, I'd say sulfinyl can cause an allergic reaction in a person with a sulfa drug allergy. There was nothing else to explain it.

First, try eliminating dairy from your diet, milk creates mucus. Second, use a nasal rinse to remove mucus. Buy a Nettie Pot or similar product from the drug store and use the prepackaged saline mix with water in the Nettie pot to flush the sinuses. The Nettie pot is like a tiny teapot, you press the spout up to your nose, tilt your head and let the saline solution flow through. It's a little uncomfortable at first but the mixture will flow through and come out the other nostril When you finish do the other nostril and gently blow your nose.

As far as I know there is no such thing as salt allergy. Low-salt products are mainly used to treat high bloodpressure. (I case you think salt allery exist, post a new question containing a source)

My last westie had severe allergies, and after trying out different remedies we found that cortison was the most effective treatment for her severe skin allergy (at one point she had scratched off ALLher fur). We also had very good results with a drug called "Atopica Vet" (i believe the active ingredient is Ciklospori)
In general we were adviced that cortison would limit her lifespan, she died aged 14 after being on quite high doses of cortison since she was 3 years old.

It depends. If the pain & cramps are after every meal - it's more likely to be simple indigestion. However - if it's only after eating certain foods, it could indeed be an allergy. Best to get yourself tested for allergies by your doctor.
