How tall is Jones-Drew of the Jacksonville Jaguars?

5 feet, 6 and 1/2 inches tall

Jones-Drew is listed by the NFL at 5 feet 7 inches. However, there is ample evidence that this value is the production of positive rounding. In college, Jones-Drew was consistently listed at 5'6". Additionally, the NFL combine measured him at 5 feet 6 and 3/4 inches tall. Considering both his college, and professional listings, it is likely that Maurice Jones-Drew is a solid 5'6".

When did the drought force Anasazis to leave their homes?

By the year 1300 AD, the entire northern section of the Colorado Plateau (today's Mogollon Rim area) was mysteriously abandoned by the natives. This ended the Pueblo period of development of the Native Americans and the end of the pure Anasazi culture. It is not known exactly why the Anasazi left their homes but drough is one of the compelling factors. They did not all leave at once. Small groups at a time drifted away from the plateau. There was a severe drought from 1276 to 1299 and attacks by nomadic tribes may have also contributed to the move of the Anasazi. Their migration may have also been caused by developing and changing religious beliefs and climatic changes.

What tribes did the Anasazi fight?

There is evidence that in the 1200s in the Dolores and Kayenta Anasazi areas there was violence and warfare. It is thought that perhaps it was with Athabaskan or Numic speaking peoples that they were fighting with. They were moving into the area at that time. There are also signs of religious and cultural upheaval at that time so it could have been internal conflict as well. The Katchina religion and different living patterns happened soon after this period. The Navajo have cultural traditions of something despotic happening in some of the Pueblos at that time period. There could be some truth to it or it could be post facto explanations.

Earlier than this, there is no evidence that they fought. But there structure of some of the dwellings in some places suggest a need for defense.

What are anasazi religious beliefs?

There is no way to know for sure what beliefs they had. Their direct descendants, the modern Pueblo peoples have a unbroken record of continuity of all physical culture with the Anasazi so it is reasonable to assume that their beliefs have something in common with the Anasazi. However, although their are mainklhy commonalities the Pueblo people are not one culture or language. For example Zuni and Hopi languages have nothing in common. Also, we can see changes in the way kivas and plazas were built and presumably used over time. It appears like this kachina religion arose in around the 13th century.

Did the native Americans have bows and arrows and spears andswords and shields and horses before Europe got to north America?

You mean before Europeans got to the Americas. Before 1492 horses had been extinct in North America since the Ice Age (and they had only been very small prehistoric horses, not suitable for riding). The Spanish re-introduced horses to the Americas after 1492.

Bows and arrows were invented at about the same time in many parts of the world, including North, Central and South America - before that development the spear-thrower or atlatl was widely used. Spears were also widely used in hunting and warfare, as were shields of various kinds.

Since no native American group developed the technology to smelt iron ore, the production of swords was impossible. They did work certain soft metals such as gold and copper, but mainly for ritual objects and jewellery.

Bows, war clubs and stone knives were the main weapons among most native tribes.
