How did the plague and the blockade help the winner of the Peloponnesian War?

The Peloponnian League faced an Athens weakened in the short and middle term of the 27-year war by losing a third of its manpower in the plague outbreaks of 430, 429 and 427 BCE. Replacing these soldiers and seamen, further reduced by the loss in Sicily, took over two decades as the children grew up, and by then the war was turning against Athens when Persia began supporting the Peloponnesian League.

The blockade of Athens in 404 BCE by land and sea, after the anihilation of its fleet the year before at Aigospotamai, left Athens with no option but to surrender - unable to produce food, cut off from imported food supplies, and with its overseas garrisons forced home into the city to exacerbate the food crisis.
With the city-state of Athens decimated by the plague , along with the loss of it's prominent leader Pericles , Sparta was left in the stronger position and ultimately persevered over Athens .

How did Demeter become a Olympian?

Diodorus Siculus, Library of History 4. 15. 1 (trans. Oldfather) (Greek historian C1st B.C.)

"The Gigantes about Pallene chose to begin war against the immortals . . . [and] Zeus gave the name of Olympian only to those gods who had fought by his side, in order that the courageous, by being adorned by so honourable a title, might be distinguished by this designation from the coward; and of those who were born of mortal women he considered only Dionysos and Herakles worthy of this name."

Demeter was given the title of Olympian by Zeus for fighting in the Giant War; of her part in it - in ancient Greek vase painting Demeter was sometimes depicted battling one of the Gigantes in their war against the gods.

She is shown wielding either a sword (no doubt the khrysaor or golden sword described in her Homeric epithet Khrysaoros - the Lady of the Golden Sword), or else a spear in one hand and a flaming torch in the other.

Who wrote the poem Why do you go to church example - Some go to church to meet a friend Some go there a fault to find...The wise go there to worship God.?

This page http://www.diversitypress.com/s120901.html says "adapted by Maralene Wesner." This page http://www.wcgsouthbay.com/newsletters/newsletter_spring_2004.html says "author unknown." I found it in a book published in 1883 called A Treasury of Moral Truths without an author listed (using Google Book search). The only difference I find between the 1883 version and the one that says it is adapted is that the 1883 version didn't have a title. This site http://maranatha-bpc.com/MESSENGER/MM-96-01-07.htm says the poem is by Charles H. Spurgeon. Other sites say anonymous, or Public domain. Another Google search for Charles Spurgeon produced this book Spurgeon: Prince of Preachers By Lewis A Drummond which seems accurate, and Spurgeon's poem is printed there (again, without a title). From the research, I am guessing that Spurgeon is the real author... he was alive during the correct time period, and it is published in a book with his name attached.

What was aristotles ideal form of government?

Polity. In Polity (Gr. Πολιτειοκρατεία) the citizens have the power in their hands and use it to fulfill the goals of the state. However in Democracy (which is the "bad" version of Polity), citizens have the power in their hands and use it not to support the goals of the state but in order to support their own interests. The difference is chaotic.
