Ants don't have gestation periods because they lay eggs - they don't have live babies like mammals do.

The egg hatches three days after it is laid and the larva feeds for around nine days before the cell is capped the the larva pupates.

Total development time is 16 days for a queen, 21 days for a worker, and 24 days for a drone.

Mockingbirds lay 2 to 6 eggs. They hatch in 11 to 13 days.

Most people seem to agree that it is 40-50 days. I'm now counting beause one has burrowed to lay eggs in a front flower garden (sandy soil and not far from a freshwater canal)

The will remember things for a lifetime, like a certain area that they eat in or a certain location that they last felt pain. Short-term memory, though only lasts for a few seconds.

Eggs hatch 17 to 18 days after laying. Mom and Dad take turns sitting on the eggs and then staying with the chicks after they hatch. Both parents feed them. Ours are now 8 days old. They are getting their feathers but not big or strong enough to fly. I was very concerned Sunday night/Monday morning because the babies were left alone all night. But Mom came and fed them Monday morning before I left for work. The parents are staying fairly close, but they aren't spending as much time in the nest. That might be because the chicks are getting a good coat of feathers and not as much down.

Go to your vet and they will tell you. if its far along enough in its pregnancy you could feel movement in the belly or notice the teets growing swelling or have milk. If no movement and no milk that doesnt mean that its not pregnant.

The Gestation period of a pig is around 114 days. It is not uncommon for a pig to lose babies before they're born, or produce stillborn babies.
