Well all animals eat something!

Just like we eat all kinds of things from water to burgers to spaghetti.

When we look at ticks and think "Why do they drink blood?"

Its the same thing if a tick looked at us and said "Ewww, Why do they drink water?"

Only a vet should be doing this procedure. Your cat needs to see a vet. If you were to try, your cat could die from infection, or you could be in trouble too for causing it to suffer. Vets can do this quickly and painlessly, as well as provide further treatment that this cat may need.

Ticks stick their heads in humans and suck their blood. If you are removing a tick do not squeeze the end (the bloodsack.) This can cause the blood that the tick has gotton from other animals into your bloodstream and may give you a disease. If ticks are attached to you long enugh(approx. 1-4 weeks) they can give you Lyme Disease.

There are two main parasites to watch for in used sofas: fleas and bed bugs. Both can be difficult to get rid of so it is best to contact a professional. Once the sofa has been cleaned, make sure to continue keeping it clean by vaccuuming and steam cleaning when necessary.

The true bugs (Hemiptera) are phytophagous meaning that they feed on plant material. Most bugs have a sucking mouth part which they use to extract nutrients from the sap of plants and their seeds.

Cats may have different types of worms that can be different colors, but you are unlikely to see most of them unless you use a microscope. The main worms that you will see in cats are roundworms, that look much like long strands of pale cream-colored spaghetti, and tapeworms, that look like little segments of white rice. When tapeworm segments dry they darken and end up looking more like sesame seeds and are about the same shade of brown.

Roundworms can cause serious damage to humans and other living things. Roundworms also live in pigs, so when people eat it pork undercooked, they can have roundworms inside their body, where it causes a disease. Earthworms cannot do any of these things that roundworms can do.

(Roundworms are parasites, so if you don't want to have parasites inside your body organs, DON'T EAT UNDERCOOKED PORK OR ANY TYPE OF MEAT)

The three most common types of worms in cats are tapeworms, roundworms and hookworms. You can do a simple google search to find images and treatment options for each kind of worm. Roundworms are thin and have been said to resemble spaghetti and are sometimes seen in the cat's feces or vomit. Tapeworms are thin, flat, and segmented - they're the worms that can sometimes be seen sticking out of the cat's anus. And finally, hookworms usually aren't seen, but are indicated by blood in the cat's stool. If you at all suspect that your cat has worms, it's in your best interest to take him/her to the vet for a sure diagnosis.

A bot fly is one of several families of hairy flies whose larvae live as parasites within the bodies of mammals, such as the Desert Woodrat.

The cat will start getting skinny no matter how much it is eating, they will have an irritation and itchiness of their hindquarters, and you at one point be able to see a worm there. You should REALLY get a check up for your kitten.
