My dog has a wolf worm, and my daughter works for a vet. The vet told her to tell me to put hydrogen peroxide on it and the worm would come out.

There is no such worm called a "Wolf Worm". Is this an internal worm you saw passed in the feces or a sore on your pet's skin? You need to take your pet in to see your Veterinarian to be treated. I know for a fact that hydrogen peroxide would never kill a maggot infection so you are getting some ignorant answers here. Your Vet will know what the problem is and how to treat it.

You should talk to either your veterinarian (if you have pets) or a professional pest exterminator. Flea infestations can be very difficult to get rid of, as there are several life stages present and each life stage is susceptible to different chemicals.

it could be bumblefoot. make sure that the cage you use doesn;t have wire flooring and that you don't use cedar as bedding. The bedding you use may have irratated your guinea pig'd foot. try a differnet bedding and put a dab of honey on her foot once or twice a day. if it is still red, take her to the vet asap

I can't answer your question because I have the same question you do, and I can't find an answer on the internet anywhere for it. My dog was about 2 months old when this also happened to him. (I got him from someone I found through the newspaper when he was 6 weeks old) The worm that came out of his mouth when he threw it up was at least 5 inches long-maybe longer, because the bottom of him was "coiled up" when my dog was done getting sick at the time. The worm was ALIVE and MOVING. It coiled on the bottom and its head was standing up and it seemed to me looking or at least rotating its head around. My dog had thrown up on a bean bag chair at the time and I freaked out so much when I saw the big worm (in comparison at the time to my shitz a poo's tiny body) that once I got a little bit out of shock I grabbed the bean bag chair and ran to the bath room and flushed the live GIANT worm down the toilet. I was so freaked out and couldn't stop crying. To this day I don't know what that worm was or what the cause of it was. My dog is now 5 years old.....and I am still worried sometimes to this day about that incident because I don't know what it was or what caused it. I know it had to be from the person I bought my dog from, but my dog is my life and my best friend and I still worry that something could be wrong somewhere that I don't know about. To whoever posted the answer above me. Ring worm is not even a parasite. It is in fact a fungal infection. If you have ever had athletes foot or jock itch well that's what ringworm is. Though ringworm affects the skin.

Well most times you can apply only the month needed. You don't want too much of this in their system. 30hrs is almost 2 days, so no i would not re apply the Frontline plus. No. Ticks attach themselves and keep sucking the blood. They will eventually turn a whitish color and will grow very big after a while. But, if you find a tick on yourself or a pet, you should take it off, obviously should remove the tick with tweezers, or your fingers, and kill it by burning it with a lighter, flushing it down the toilet, crushing it with your fingernail, soaking it in rubbing alcohol, 409, window cleaner, bleach, or any kind of harmful chemical.

Dogs respond well to many human medications. However -- toxicity is a function of dosage! You can easily overdose a dog on what would me a low dosage for a human. This applies to ALL medications in all species. The majority of canine deaths from Ibuprofen, Aspirin, etc. are not the medication's lethality per se, but the amount given the animal, either in a loading dose or over time. That said, the following human meds may be administered to dogs by a Vet who will determine dosage for you: * Ibupren (careful here -- EASY to overdose). * Aspirin * Benydryl * Ampicillin * Amoxycillin * prednisone * D5W And others... However, I can't emphasize enough the care you have to take in correct dosing. Once more, get the Vet to tell you safe dosages BEFORE administering. Note that this is not true for cats.
