How do you point your arrow up and still hit the target?
Simple physics. You have the same target using your x axis (which would be your aim from left to right) Though in three dimensions with constant gravity your arrow will reach the ground eventually. If your target is far enough away you will need to point your arrow up to counter the effects of gravity.
What you really need to find out is how fast the projectile will leave the arrow. The projectile's MASS (not its weight) and the force with which the bow pushes it can help you calculate the acceleration (using Newton's Second Law), but that's really insufficient information - you also need to know for how long the bow pushes the projectile, using the given force.

well that depends. if you are holding your bow and it breaks then you could get hurt and your bow could possibly break. if it breaks when your not holding it, then it might damage your bow. if it doesn't damage your bow, you can take it to be restrung or do it yourself. be careful of dry-releasing (pulling back the string without an arrow on it) because you can break the string and/or break your bow.
Install a new peep sight in compound bow will it effect the sighting?
If you haven't had a peep installed previously I am quite sure putting one in will affect your shot. Without the peep you were likely aiming by looking beside your string since you can't see through it. With the peep installed you will now be looking through your string. Bringing the string closer into your face will shift your arrow to the right. You will likely have to shift your sight/pins all to the right as well. Line your pin tips all directly above your arrow for a good starting place.

Is it true a good archer keeps his or her body and arm tense and rigid at all times?
Not really. Breathing correctly and finding the best stance for your body type is one aspect of archery a lot of beginners overlook. When drawing a bow and setting up your shot, you WANT your elbow to be slightly bent and make sure your not gripping the riser like a fist. You want the handle to cradle the web of your hand so the bow can follow through after you release. Tensing your arm and hand can cause you to 'torque' your shot, which will mess up your consistency. Another reason you want your arm bent and fairly relaxed is it puts a little more space between you and the string. You do not want the string to catch any part of your body when shooting.. it will kill your shot and paint some beautiful colors of pain on the inside of your arm. Not fun. As for stance, breathing, and what to do with your release hand, everybodys a little different. Search for 'archery stances' and you'll have a good starting point
