The amount of credits that will transfer from an associates degree to a bachelor's degree is strictly up to the receiving college or university. If you are taking a general "Associates in Biology", then there is a good chance that most if not all credits will be transferable, provided the major is the same at the four year level and the grades received were a "C" or higher. Each community college has what they define as transferable degrees and even have special articulation agreements with four year institutions. In this case, once the students completes the agreed upon major that falls within the articulation agreement successfully, then the four year institution is obligated to take that degree full faith in credit and grant the student Junior level status. Remember, an Associates in Science (AS) has many sub-categories to even include engineering. That being said, for the purpose of transfer, the associates major and bachelors major, must be in strict alignment. If not; this is why many individuals lose credits in transfer. There are also other reasons why some courses may not be transferable. Check with the Transfer Counselor at the community college you attend for detailed information. Viper1
What is the difference between a BA degree a BS degree and a BSc degree?
The Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) has a broader scope, with a strong emphasis on the humanities, theoretical and general knowledge in a recognized discipline, interdisciplinary field, or of a professional study.
The Bachelor of Science degree (BS) is more of a focused approach with a science base to include a balance of liberal arts, technological knowledge, math and computer oriented skills, and practical skills needed for a particular discipline within the field.
The Bachelors of Science degree (BSc) is the same as the BS, but the abbreviation is used in some countries outside the US. For example, the United Kingdom, India, etc.

What does the derivative at a point mean?
The derivative at any point in a curve is equal to the slope of the line tangent to the curve at that point.
Doing it in terms of the actual expression of the curve, find the derivative of the curve, then plug the x-value of the point into the derivative to find the derivative at that point.

Is biotechnology a good choice as a career And if yes then Bsc or else Btech is good?
Is does not matter if the general consensus is positive or negative. The question is not so much whether the field is perceived as good by the general population, as it is a question of, is it good for you. This is a personal choice. Whatever you choose as a career, you must have a passion for what you do. A love for what you do and the benefit it brings to others as well as yourself. Only in this way can you find true success. Research the area of interest and see how it fits within yourself. Once you see that vision, focus in on it and do not let go until it becomes a reality.
B.Tech will have a greater value that B.sc. Moreover if you are interested in engineering, B.Tech would be apt as it includes designing and manipulative techniques. Check out the various branches that a B.tech Biotechnology course would include and judge for yourself if you have an interest in these feilds

Can a student work and earn well in Ukraine?
Depends on who the student is primarily their sex as normal jobs don't pay too well in the Ukraine at all. If you are a guy the country may be bearable for a certain amount of time as woman tend to outnumber men, a good deal of them being quite attractive. After a certain amount of time however you will start to notice that the atmosphere of the country will start to drain your life force and live you with a bitter taste in your mouth and trust me it's not anywhere near being exquisite.

Difference between pure science and impure sciences?
The contrast is between "pure" and "applied", not between "pure" and "impure". Pure science investigates questions without regard to any practical applications that might derive from answering the questions. Applied science chooses questions to investigate based on the anticipated usefulness of answering the question. Anyone using the term "impure science" is just making a joke.

A degree in atmospheric science takes how long?
A bachelor's degree in most areas can require between 120 to 128 college credits particular to a specific program of study. This would be based on a college or university that operates on a regular two semester academic year which is the most common. For institutions that operate on a tri-semester or quarter-semester it would be quite different. That being said, the Bachelor's degree - in most cases - is designed as a four year program of study, provided the student is full-time and follows their chosen program of study as prescribed by the college or university, and also provided the individual does not require prerequisite or developmental coursework as a result of basic skills testing. The minimum credit load for a full-time student is no less than 12 credits per semester. However, to complete the degree within the four years, a credit load of approximately 15 to 18 credits is recommended. For individuals who work or who have other responsibilities that would prohibit them from attending full-time, completion of the degree may take twice as long. Still, some of this time can be cut down by attending summer sessions and/or interim sessions. In addition, the bachelors and associate degrees are referred to as undergraduate degrees while the masters and doctorate degrees referred to as graduate degrees. The minimum requirement for the field of atmospheric science is bachelor's degree. However, for meaningful work and research within the field a master's would be the next step, but a doctorate is really what you should really have your eyes set on.
