Why did basil think that Lord Henry was a bad influence on people?

... because Lord Henry speaks before he thinks. He professes that one should indulge in sin - something which Basil does not want for someone he sees as both beautiful and innocent (Dorian Gray) - also whilst Lord Henry does engage in untoward activities - most of what he says is sensationalist banter made to stir and not to be seen as something to live by - The book shows that Dorian Gray is extremely impressionable (i.e. very gullible) - his beauty whilst seemingly everlasting does not correlate to the innocence which he loses when he becomes caught up in the pursuit of pleasure - basically Basil wants to protect his friend/idol from a man who cares not for what he says and the consequences that follow - it seems that those who know Lord Henry view him as a playful jester who counteracts 'virtuous' opinion with cynicism and 'radical' ideas - a good conversationalist - but for Dorian Gray Lord Henry's words and opinions light a fire that eventually becomes too big to extinguish (metaphorically speaking) resulting in Dorian's demise. Something which Basil could probably foresee - as beauty as shown in the book is easily tainted (one way of the other)

Is st basil cathedral a eastern rite church?

St. Basil's Cathedral, located in Moscow, is not an Eastern Rite church; it is an example of Russian Orthodox architecture and serves as a church within the Russian Orthodox Church. Built in the 16th century, it is known for its distinctive onion-shaped domes and colorful façade. While it reflects Eastern Orthodox Christian traditions, it is specifically aligned with the Russian Orthodox branch rather than an Eastern Rite church, which typically refers to Catholic churches that follow Eastern liturgical practices.

Too much basil what to do?

Some people freeze it, but I find frozen basil doesn't get used much because it tends to be something you always use fresh.

You could make pesto of various types, and freeze that; there are other recipes containing significant amounts of basil which you could also make for the freezer.

Or, you could simply give away what you can't use. Basil isn't cheap to buy in the grocery store, and many people would be glad of a bag of freshly-cut basil. You could ring your local church or other charity organization and ask them if they could use some for stalls at fairs, or to give to those who need it, and so on. It's quite possible they'll send someone to pick your extra basil if it isn't easy for you to deliver it.
