Yes, you can take Lorazepam with Excedrin PM.

Lorazepam is an anti-anxiety medication.

Excedrin PM contains acetaminophen (Tylenol) and diphenhydramine (Benadryl). Both are safe to take with Lorazepam.

you shouldn't...quite simply. .5mg of xanax is a small dose however benzos and opiates enhance each other and cause risk of respiratory depression (meaning you could stop breathing). the risk is certainly low in your case, however you should not be ignorant to it.

Most benzodiazepines (Xanax, Valium, Klonopin, Librium, etc.) are detectable in a hair test for up to 90 days...it all depends on the persons weight, gender(believe it or not), health, body chemistry, and how often they used...if it was a one time use it shouldn't be detectable in hair after 45 days or so.

Never combine these medications EVER I've been taking xanax and cymbalta together for 2 years now with no adverse reactions so I'm curious about this response?? Cymbalta does not "supress your system", it is an SSNRI and has no effect on the GABA receptors in the brain which Xanax works through.

They don't test for benzos on a DOT drug test, just pot, cocaine, PCP, opiates and amphetamines. However! Benzos can make you sleepy and cause you to pull over for naps, which could make you late for pickup or delivery, which will eventually cause you to lose your job.

Taking even one tablet of a benzodiazepine can show up on a standard drug test for 3-7 days, obviously the more you take and for how long will have an effect on your drug test results. However, you should have no problem if you were prescribed the medication by a licensed physician.

The best way to do it is to tell the doctor that the dose you had so far does not give you the same effects as it did before. Basically you don't feel much anymore :) Tell him as well that xanax really helped you so far and you want to stick with it :)

time release xanax should be taken pretense. in the morning is the answer. they are a twenty-four time release tablet , unless crushed then its instant. u can crush if your haveing a panic attack for quick response. other wise take in the morning!

I don't recommend it. The cough suppressant in the DM cough syrups can make you nervous and anxious. The fact that you are taking Xanax means that you have not yet learned healthy coping habits to deal with your anxiety and stress. Therefore, you need to stay away from things that are going to cause more anxiety. No caffeine, no smoking, no Sudafed, and no dextromethorphan.

I urge you to find a good therapist and let them show you how to CURE your anxiety by learning healthy ways to cope with stress. Then you can get rid of the tranquilizers and get back to living!

The person who previously answered this question is incorrect. There is no drug interaction between Xanax and Robitussin DM;therefore, it is okay to take them together. Furthermore, I think personal opinions about a person's use of anti-anxiety medication should be kept to one's self.
