Birth control affects at a young age?

I had to be put on birth control pills at a young age due to irregular periods and heavy bleeding and they have not affected me at all. I now have regular 29-30 day cycles are apposed to 26-42 day cycles. I don't bleed no wear near as much and I have energy as before I was anemic. The doctors continue to do blood work on me and check my cervix, ovaries, fallopian tubes and uterus every year and everything is in perfect working order. I hope that this helps:)

If your period history is screwy and you just had a csection and are now on the pill for the first time is it OK to have your period about every other week for at least the first few months?

Yes, after delivering a baby, ceserian or naturally, the female will bleed for six weeks, and especially if starting a new method of birth control immediately after delivery, the hormones in a womans body are trying to re-adjust to all of the stress and tension that has been happening.

What does it mean your pee smells and is very yellow?

My advice for this is to drink more. This is the first thing anyone would say to you.

When we keep ourselves hydrated the water that we excrete makes our urine a lighter colour and less odour.

Try to aim to drink 2 litres of water a day. If your problem still is not solved please contact your GP.

I hope this helps

Does starting birth control a day before your period ruin your period cycle?

I'm not sure what you mean by "ruin" your period cycle. If you start most forms of hormonal birth control the day before your period, that period may be lighter or shorter, or absent, and your next episode of bleeding is likely to come in about 3 1/2 weeks.

You took a full 28 day pack of birth control had your period on the sugar pill week then started a new pack Are you safe on the first day of the new pack or on the seventh?

It depends, are you on the same brand of pill as the month before? If so then you are covered on the first day of the new pack as long as you're sure you took all the pills correctly the month before and that you got your period on the last reminder week. If changing brands then you should use another form of contraception for the first week on the new pack, after that you're covered.

Is the untrue menstruation experienced from an annovulatory cycle the same menstruation that women on hormonal contraceptives experience due to suppressed ovulation?

I would have to say no because the hormones in a woman's body operate very differently when they are on birth control than when they are not. Oftentimes, the woman will experience birth control withdrawl for the first few months after ceasing the contraceptive. The body will need time to regulate itself naturally again without relying on the same balancing effect on the hormones the contraceptives provided. For example, after being on a contraceptive for eight years, I stopped taking them after I got married. My next menses was a horrible experience. I had not experienced a period like that before. However, each proceeding month, my symptoms got better. Now, my body is finally getting back to a somewhat normal cycle. I did have normal cycles also while I was taking the contraceptives. I do not think I will ever go back on contraceptives after the experience I had of withdrawing from them.
