with the switch off, press and hold the odometer button. Turn the switch on, and the odometer will be in insp mode. mode. Press the odometer button until the indicator shows --- . Turn the switch off and the lamp should be reset.

Trans. in park, E brake on, would choke front wheel. Break lugs loose while tire is on the ground( only 1/4 turn!!!) Jack up the rear side of the car, there is a pad under sill at back edge of door to jack up from. Remove lugs and tire, clean of hub, always has crud/little corrosion, lube if possible hub centering circle( to make next servicing easier). R/R tire and reverse procedure. Tighting lugs in a criss/cross pattern.

It is very simple, i replaced mine recently. it unzips from inside all the way round, then just zip in your new one. best if you have a helper though, it can get tricky to hold in place while you zip it in.

Ooh, you'd better be sure you really want to remove it. To actually remove it from a Z3, the rear suspension unit has to come out(!) so before deciding to remove it, run it to near empty and put the car on ramps or a lift and loosen the straps and look at how much room you have to wiggle it and get where you need to go. The fuel sender has an access hole in the passenger compartment, and the anti-rattle pads, the hoses, the fuel pump, and everything else that normally has to be done to the fuel tank can and should be done with the tank in place or perhaps just hanging a little low on its straps. Honestly, if I had punctured my tank I'd get some marine tank sealer putty and patch it. If it seriously HAS to come out, well, I'm sorry, you can spend the weekend under the car or you can spend it working overtime to pay your mechanic... Fuel tanks rarely fail, so normally there's no need for an easy way of replacing it. In this case they pretty much started with a fuel tank and built a car around it...

If you mean to insert the RADIO CODE:

- the battery (on the car) must be charged or new;

- insert the key in the ignition and turn it on the first level;

- push the button ON/OFF of the radio;

- you will have 4 lines on the display;

- learn the code from the label you got together with the car's documents;

- push the buttons located under each line of the display, so many time until you get the requested number;

- after you have the 4 numbers on the display push the arrow "right" and the radio will start normally.

The sensor is located at the front of the engine near the oil filter housing. To the left of the housing. 2.5 Z3

Take off the old one and put the new one on.

There is a trigger-like release latch located vertically on the wall next to the driver's left leg, directly beneath the parking brake release. Additionally, there are a pair of release tabs beneath the hood on each side of the grill (for SE models) or a tab that pops through the grill (SEL models).

It is immediately in front of the gear shift lever, just to the left of the heated seat buttons. It is the one with the arrows pointing up and down. Some Z3s had manual tops and would have no switch.

The starter is located under the intake manifold, and you will have to remove the intake manifold to get to it. Do not forget to buy a intake gasket before you take it off, because they always fall apart when you take the intake manifold off.

The circle with an exclamation point means you've turned off your DSC (Dynamic Spin Control.)

The standard 2001 BMW z3 Coupe does not have a switch to turn off the airbags. However, you can have this switch installed by the dealer as an upgrade.

You would jump it much like a standard car but you would park the working car behind the BMW Z3 because the battery is in the trunk under the trunk mat. BMW does this to create more even weight distribution in the car.
